TRASH COLLECTOR FOR DRAINAGE CHANNELS
Disclosed is a trash collector for drainage channels. The trash collector includes a main frame provided with engaged parts engaged with engaging protrusions of an inlet of a drainage channel and a penetration part having one side vertically penetrated, an opening and closing plate mounted in the penetration part so as to selectively open and close the penetration part depending on a load of water introduced through the inlet of the drainage channel, and a hinge shaft interposed between the main frame and the opening and closing plate so as to axially rotate the opening and closing plate. A base plate of the main frame and the opening and closing plate have a designated height so that fallen leaves and road trash accumulated and gathered on the base plate and the opening and closing plate may be sufficiently suctioned by suction force of a street cleaning vehicle.
Drain guard device
A drain guard device for preventing particulates from entering a drain. The drain guard device includes a ring member having an outer circumference and an inner circumference. A groove extends radially along the entire inner circumference. The groove is dimensioned to removably receive a strainer. The ring member is a flexible flat annular ring having a uniform width between the outer circumference and the inner circumference. In use, the drain guard rests over a drain, wherein the lower side of the ring member is configured to frictionally engage an upper side of a surface, such as a floor or sink. The lower side of the ring member is configured to form a suction seal with the upper side of the surface, wherein both the strainer and ring member can be easily removed from the surface by hand when desired.
Venting Clip For A Floor Drain Assembly
A drain assembly is installed into the floor of a shower stall or in the floor of a room to allow water or fluids to be drained. The drain assembly is attached to a drain pipe to allow water to drain from the drain assembly. The drain assembly includes a base that receives a tray, wherein the tray is spaced apart from the base by way of at least one venting clip. The venting clip includes a venting channel configured to provide a fluid pathway that extends from a position adjacent to a central opening that is in fluid communication with the drain pipe to the ambient air about the drain assembly. The venting channel is configured to allow air to escape from the drain pipe to normalize the pressure between the drain pipe and the ambient air therewithin to prevent the backup of water within the drain.
Ligature Mitigation Drain
A ligature mitigation drain apparatus and method is disclosed which comprises an outer ring, an inner ring, and a termination ring. The outer ring surrounds the inner ring, and the inner ring surrounds the termination ring. The outer ring further comprises at least two extensions extending toward and touching the inside ring and the inner ring further comprises at least two extensions extending toward and touching the termination ring.
METHOD FOR INTERCONNECTING FLOOR DRAINS
A method for interconnecting floor drains includes attaching a first elbow fitting to an existing floor drain through an existing floor. A second elbow fitting is attached to a new floor drain that is to extend through a new floor overlying the existing floor. An extension pipe extends between the spaced first and second elbow fittings to create a fluid pathway between the new floor drain and the existing floor drain.
Drain protector
A drain protector having a flexible adsorbent pad, a raised insert, and a cover is described. The pad and the insert each includes aligned apertures. The raised insert is positioned over the flexible adsorbent pad or within the aperture of the flexible adsorbent pad. The cover is connected to the flexible adsorbent pad, a raised insert, forming a space over the insert. The drain protector is made from adsorbent material for blocking sediment, collecting contaminants and filtering water into a drain. The cover of the drain protector reinforces the sheet and insert to protect against damage from traffic over the drain protector.
Filtering Device for Erosion Control and Reducing Contamination
A filtering device for reducing radiation, sediment, contamination, pollution, and erosion control contains a first flow plate, a second flow plate, a tubular portion, and a biodegradable filtering material. The first flow plate is terminally connected to a first end of the tubular portion. A plurality of openings of the first flow plate allows water to enter the tubular portion. The second flow plate is terminally connected to a second end of the tubular portion. A plurality of openings of the second flow plate allows water to exit the tubular portion. The biodegradable filtering material is integrated within the tubular portion so that water entering the tubular portion at the first end is filtered prior to exiting the tubular portion at the second end. Switchgrass is utilized as the biodegradable filtering material.
Drainage channel with a drainage body and a cover
A stable and variable design of a drainage structure includes a drainage body (11) and a cover (20). The cover (20) has engagement devices (13, 13′; 14, 14′; 23, 23′) when seen in a longitudinal direction of the drainage body (11), whereby the cover connects upper edges (12, 12′) of the drainage body (11) to one another transversely to the longitudinal direction in a tension-resistant manner over the entire length of the drainage body. In order to allow the use of different covers (20) for different loads, for example while using the same drainage body (11), two types of engagement devices (13, 13′; 14, 14′) are provided on the drainage body.
DEVICE FOR FILTERING STORM WATER
The present invention relates to a device (1) for filtering storm water inside a storm drain. The device (1) comprises a filter unit (2), a metal capturing ballast unit (6), and a floating carrier (4) for carrying the filter unit and the metal capturing ballast unit (6). Whereby, in use, the device (1) is arranged in a floating condition in the storm water of the storm drain. The filter unit (2) is at least partially arranged above a surface (5) of the storm water, and the metal capturing ballast unit (6) is arranged below the surface (5) of the storm water. The metal capturing ballast unit (6) comprises a solid material for capturing metal and providing ballast.
Wall Mounted Shower Drain
A drain assembly that is installed at and against the wall of a shower stall providing an inlet along the intersection of the wall with the floor, and the methodology of installing the drain assembly are described. In at least some embodiments of an installed configuration, only a thin slit along the wall/floor intersection is visible in a finished shower enclosure.
