Total suspended solids reduction system
10697169 · 2020-06-30 ·

A modular system for reducing the total suspended solids of waste, including scum, sludge and water layers, includes a plurality of chambers each being connected in succession by a corresponding one of a plurality of flow pipe segments including an inlet segment, an outlet segment and at least one middle segment, wherein the waste enters the septic tank via the inlet segment and is transferred between each of the plurality of chambers via the at least one middle segment; a corrugated flow pipe in fluid flow communication with the outlet segment; and the corrugated flow pipe being sized and configured for use as a settling zone for removal of a portion of the total suspended solids and wherein an amount of water from the water layer within the chamber adjacent the outlet segment enters the corrugated flow pipe and passes through the outlet segment.

Connector pipe screen

A frameless, modular connector pipe screen insert designed for installation within storm water infrastructure, including a catch basin, for the treatment of storm water by removing trash and debris from incoming water flow. The connector pipe screen is optimally designed with perforation sizes and void areas to remove trash and debris; thereby preventing further pollution of nearby water systems including rivers, lakes, and oceans.

Pipe guard

The invention described is a pipe guard that prevents unwanted debris from entering a pipe while still allowing the flow of water. The pipe guard includes braces connecting a mounting flange on the outside of the pipe to a plate within the pipe having a plurality of holes. A bracket extends from one brace to the other between the flange and plate to provide additional support and rigidity to the pipe guard as well as acting as a handle that can be grasped by a worker to remove the pipe guard and material that may build up on the plate. The pipe guard is secured within the pipe by fasteners that extend through threaded holes in the braces and partially embed into the interior wall of the pipe. Accordingly, the pipe guard cannot be pulled free from or knocked loose from the pipe without loosening the screws.

MANHOLE ODOR TREATMENT DEVICE

An odor treatment device for a sewer that installs beneath a manhole cover. The device is formed from a circular shaped housing that fits within a manhole opening without modification. The housing is defined by sidewalls constructed and arranged to direct air an admixture of essential oils and a surfactant for treating of sewer odors. A baffle arrangement increases the velocity of air passing the admixture.

Pump system and method for determining the flow in a pump system
10480968 · 2019-11-19 · ·

A pump system has at least one fluid container (2) which comprises an inlet (4) and an outlet (6), at least one pump (8) arranged in the inlet (4) or the outlet (6), and a control device (16) which includes a flow evaluation device for determining a flow through the fluid container (2) of the pump system. The flow evaluation device is configured such that the flow evaluation device uses a system model for determining the flow. The system model includes at least two different sub-models, a sub-model which describes the inflow behavior of the fluid container (2) and a sub-model which describes the outflow behavior of the fluid container (2). A corresponding pump flow evaluation method is provided.

WASTE TRANSFER UNIT

Systems and methods for managing waste (including liquid, solid, and mixed waste) without using a sink, worktop, or countertop disposal feature. Specific examples provide particular use in connection with an aircraft or other vehicle galley, lavatory, or any other location in which waste that requires disposal is generated. The disclosed embodiments may be installed in an initial galley or lavatory, or they may be used to retrofit an existing environment, such that an entire new disposal system or new sink footprint is not required.

PUMP STATION COMPRISING A FLUSH PIPE
20190242108 · 2019-08-08 · ·

A pump station for intermediate storage of liquid includes a tank configured to house the liquid, an inlet for influent liquid flow, a pump configured to intermittently discharge liquid from the tank, an outlet for effluent liquid flow, and a flush pipe having a lower opening provided in the tank and an upper opening. The lower opening of the flush pipe is located below a pump start liquid level of the tank, and the flush pipe includes a valve configured to open/close fluid communication between the lower opening of the flush pipe and the upper opening of the flush pipe. The valve is located above the pump start liquid level of the tank. The flush pipe is configured to alternate between a primed state and a released state.

Stormwater siphon cube

To provide a portable device capable of capturing a flow of water from a stream, storm drain or runoff channel, on command and send that captured water into a pipe system, while allowing remote adjustment of the capture and flow rates out of the cube device, the stormwater syphon cube includes a rock grate to prevent stormwater borne objects from entering the device, and an exit valve adjustable via cable control, a side extraction valve adjustable via cable control to adjust the water flow into the extraction pipe, and extraction pipe attached to the cube to carry extracted water away to storage. The sealed exit pipe acts as a syphon drawing water out of the cube.

FOLDABLE AND REMOVABLE PARTITION ASSEMBLY FOR SEPTIC TANK
20190160396 · 2019-05-30 · ·

A foldable and removable partition assembly having both a collapsed configuration, which enables storage and transport of the foldable and removable partition assembly, and an expanded configuration which enables installation and use of the foldable and removable partition assembly within a septic tank. The foldable and removable partition assembly includes a framework that supports first and second partially overlapped baffles that form part of a sludge chamber of the septic tank.

Multi-purpose lid for septic tank and an associated riser

A kit, and an assembly formed with components of the kit, comprises a fitting for the top of a septic tank or water tank, one or more frusto-conical rings shaped to interconnect with an identical ring to form an undulating wall riser that extends upwardly from the tank top fitting, and a lid. The lid is shaped for multi-purpose use: closing off the opening of either the large end or the small end of a ring/riserwhichever is uppermost, or closing off the fitting when there is no riser. Joints between the rings of the riser, and between a ring/riser and the fitting of a tank, are held together by latching tabs and/or screws. A fitting may be integral with a tank top.
