VACUUM SEWAGE SYSTEM WITH MONITORING SYSTEM AND VARIABLE SPEED PUMP AND METHODS OF USE
20210301516 · 2021-09-30 · ·

A vacuum sewage system includes a collection station, a variable speed vacuum pump, a variable speed drive, a control system, a sewage pump, a collection tank, a valve pit, a first conduit extending from the collection station to the valve pit, a second conduit extending from the valve pit and terminating in a closed end, a sensor located adjacent the closed end of the second conduit, and a valve located in the valve pit for selectively permitting sewage and waste water to flow from the valve pit toward the collection station upon activation of the valve. The control system, variable speed drive and sensor may be utilized to adjust the vacuum level and vacuum level range at the collection station so as to reduce the speed and operation time of the variable speed vacuum pump while maintaining the desired vacuum level in the vacuum sewage system.

Sewage Backup Prevention Device
20210270022 · 2021-09-02 ·

A sewage backup prevention system is disclosed that enables an amount of sewage to exit an opening in a sewer cleanout instead of backing up into a finished portion of a residence or other building. The sewage backup prevention cap has a tapered body, contains no threads and fits loosely around and partially in a branch opening in the sewer cleanout. A backup in the sewer line will cause the sewage backup prevention cap to move upwardly from the branch opening thereby allowing an increasing amount of sewage to exit the sewer line.

Integrated utility distribution system

An integrated utility line system includes a plurality of integrated utility lines, each integrated utility line having an elongate body member disposed along a longitudinal axis. The elongate body member of the integrated utility lined has a first and a second utility opening defined there-through parallel to the longitudinal axis. The plurality of integrated utility lines are connected together along the longitudinal axis such that the first utility openings in the plurality of integrated utility lines are in alignment with one another, and the second utility openings in the plurality of integrated utility lines are in alignment with one another. The system further includes a plurality of seismic bearing members, and the plurality of integrated utility lines are supported at least in part by the plurality of seismic bearing members.

BACKWATER VALVE
20210047823 · 2021-02-18 ·

A backwater valve has a hollow valve body having an inlet and an outlet, and a valve member pivotally movable about a pivot axis disposed above the inlet. The valve member pivots between an open position in which the valve member is away from the inlet and a closed position in which the valve member closes the inlet. A cam is rotatably mounted above the inlet. The cam has a first rotary position in which the valve member is permitted to move to the open position and a second rotary position in which the cam engages the valve member to secure the valve member in the closed position. With the valve member in the open position, the cam pushes the valve member toward the close position as the cam moves toward the second rotary position.

A valve assembly having a body forming a bucket having a sidewall extending between an open end and a closed end along a bucket axis. A first conduit and a second conduit extend from the sidewall, wherein the first and the second conduits extend along a conduit axis that is perpendicular to the bucket axis. A frame inserts into the bucket along the bucket axis and includes a valve seat and a valve member biased against the valve seat. A guide is provided in the bucket between the closed end and the frame and extends along a guide axis between a first opening arranged in a first plane and aligned to receive fluid flow from the first conduit and a second opening arranged in a second plane and aligned to direct fluid flow through the valve seat. The first and second planes are not parallel to one another.
