Concrete form tie, and concrete formwork comprising same
A tie for a concrete formwork comprises: a tie anchor configured to be embedded in a block of insulating material, the tie anchor having a first connecting feature accessible from a concrete-facing surface of the block; and a tie member having a second connecting feature configured to connect to the first connecting feature of the tie anchor. The tie member has at least one connector for connecting to an abutting tie member.
Structure and method of making the same
An entertainment structure includes an offset core, a floor tying assembly and a plurality of floor plate assemblies. The plurality of floor plate assemblies each include a first edge and a second edge. The first edge of each of the plurality of floor plate assemblies is configured to be coupled to the offset core and the second edge of each of the plurality of floor plate assemblies is configured to be coupled to the floor tying assembly.
BUILDING STRUCTURE AND METHOD
A load bearing structure including a first fixed net layer, a second fixed net layer and a non-linear structure in between. The first fixed net layer may include a first layer of flexible, drapable fabric and a fixing material that fixes the shape of the first layer of flexible, drapable fabric. The second fixed net layer may include a second layer of flexible, drapable fabric and a fixing material that fixes the shape of the second layer of flexible, drapable fabric. The non-linear reinforcing structure may be in communication with the first and second fixed net layers and may be configured to share with the first and second fixed net layers a load applied to the load bearing structure.
PRECAST REINFORCED CONCRETE FORM
The present invention relates to forms for forming poured-in-situ vertical concrete walls, columns, floors and parapets of residential or commercial buildings, in particular a form having at least one precast reinforced concrete panel.
Building frame structure having edge beam and construction method thereof
Disclosed is a building frame structure having an edge beam and a construction method thereof. The frame structure includes: a main frame structure and a cantilever beam provided outside of the main frame structure, a beam supported by the cantilever beam, and an outer floor disposed between the main frame structure and the edge beam. The edge beam and the cantilever beam are preforms reserved with exposed reinforcing bars, respectively. The edge beam is provided thereon with a vertical sideboard and a temporary safety rail. The cantilever beam is a beam-shell structure provided with an inner recess. The outer floor is a laminated plate, a lower part of which is a preformed plate. The preformed plate, the edge beam, and the cantilever beam are connected to each other by concrete cast in situ at respective top portions thereof.
Concrete saferoom and method of manufacture
A saferoom has a concrete floor, plurality of concrete walls, and concrete roof/ceiling connected without seams or joints. Pouring the concrete floor, the plurality of concrete walls, and the concrete roof/ceiling may be part of an integrated pour molded by forms. The method may further include vibrating at least one of the concrete floor, plurality of concrete walls, or concrete roof/ceiling to control the rate of change in viscosity and structural strength of the concrete. The integrated pour may further include pouring a footing. The forms may be reusable. Some of the forms may be angled and chamfered. The integrated pour may be a single pour. The method may further include attaching a sliding door. The method may include placing steel rebar reinforcing prior to starting the integrated pour.
Control System for Movable Additive Manufacturing
A system for additive manufacturing includes a mobile implement system with a nozzle, an implement system pose sensor, and a controller. The controller determines a plurality of potential poses and a plurality of potential paths of the nozzle. A desired pose and a desired path are selected and a sequence and rate of operation of the mobile implement system is determined to permit the nozzle to deposit sequential layers of material to form a desired structure. After moving the mobile implement system towards the desired pose, a modified sequence and rate of operation of the mobile implement system is determined that will cause the nozzle to follow the desired path even if the mobile implement system is not at the desired pose while depositing the sequential layers of material along the desired path to form the structure.
Structure and method of making the same
An vertical entertainment structure includes: an offset core; a moment stabilizing structure; a plurality of floor plate assemblies; and two or more entertainment rides that each span at least two of the plurality of floor plate assemblies.
