Construction method for a building

A construction method for a building is provided that includes the steps of: hoisting and positioning a plurality of precast columns on at least a portion of a predetermined area of a construction site to form a precast column array having at least two spans along a first direction and one or more spans along a second direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction; positioning the pre-fabricated beam rebar assemblies between adjacent precast columns, positioning each of the precast slab panels on support potions on the precast columns, assembling the beam cage and pouring the concrete into the molds for the beam cage to accomplish the structure of a single story; and repeating the steps of constructing the above-mentioned precast column array until completion of the structure of all stories of the building.

Retaining Structure

A wall unit (V) for a retaining structure (100) comprises a foot portion (1a) and a wall portion (1b), wherein the wall portion (1b) is inclined with respect to the foot portion (1a), so that it extends over the foot portion (1a). Accordingly, the wall unit (1) is stable during construction and assembly. A corner unit (7) for a retaining structure (100) is adapted to engage with two wall units (1). A retaining structure (100) comprises at least one wall unit (1).

A building construction method uses wall frames having a moveable top track. The track is fixed in a raised position so as to be load-bearing during construction, allowing construction work to progress quickly. When supporting concrete columns have cured, the fixing can be released allowing the track to move into a lowered position and for the building load to transfer to the columns.

A structure for modular utilities units includes a skeletal frame forming multiple bays, each configured for receiving a respective utilities unit. A placement subassembly is mounted on the frame and includes a utilities unit connector configured for connecting to a respective utilities unit and a lifting device configured for attachment to the connector and raising and lowering a respective utilities unit. The utilities units can provide power, telecommunications, water, data processing and other utility functions. A logistics system includes vehicles for conveying the utilities units to and from the structure. The logistics system interfaces with ground, marine and air transportation resources.

PREFABRICATED FRAME

Disclosed herewith a prefabricated frame, including a column (1), a main beam (2), a secondary beam (3), and a floor (5). The main beam (2) and the secondary beam (3) are both prefabricated members, and provided with exposed reserve reinforcing bars. The floor (5) is a laminated plate having a prefabricated slab (51) at a lower portion thereof. The prefabricated slab (51), the main beam (2), and the secondary beam (3) are connected together through in-situ casting concrete on respective top portions thereof. The column (1) is a prefabricated column, which has exposed reserve reinforcing bars at a top thereof, and a to-be-cast structure at a bottom thereof for connection with a lower building structure, which has exposed reinforcing bars inserted into the to-be-cast structure. The connection between the column (1) and the lower building structure is achieved by casting in-situ concrete in the to-be-cast structure (12).
