Blast resistant shelter and method of assembly
A method and apparatus according to which a blast resistant shelter is assembled. The blast resistant shelter includes first and second structural members, a third structural member coupled to the first and second structural members, a first airway adjacent the third structural member, and a first blast panel pivotably mounted to the third structural member and adapted to pivot thereabout in response to a blast wave. In a first configuration, the first blast panel is detachably connected to a first portion of the blast resistant shelter and prevented from pivoting about the third structural member so that the first blast panel obstructs air flow through the first airway. In a second configuration, in response to the blast wave, the first blast panel is detached from the first portion of the blast resistant shelter and permitted to pivot about the third structural member to permit air flow through the first airway.
Modular construction system and method of use thereof
A modular construction system, including, first and second walls, each having first and second broad surfaces. Each wall includes throughgoing connector-receiving bores. The modular construction system further includes a connector including a longitudinal body portion arranged along a longitudinal axis and having a first width. A head portion of the longitudinal body portion includes a base surface having a second width in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis. A pair of protrusions extend outwardly from the longitudinal body portion and are disposed between the base surface and a tail end of the longitudinal body portion. The protrusions include an engagement surface facing toward the base surface and having a third width, the third width being greater than the first width.
INFLATABLE GOLF STUDIO
A portable inflatable golf studio including an arcuate shaped roof panel, first and second side panels, a floor panel, a front panel, a back panel, a projector screen, a projector, and a tracking system. The first and second side panels are positioned parallel from one another and are attached to the arcuate shaped roof panel, wherein one of the first and second side panels defines a cavity configured to receive a television monitor. The floor panel configured to connect the first and second side panels to one another. The front panel removable attached to the arcuate shaped roof panel and the first and second side panels. The back panel positioned parallel to the front panel and attached to the arcuate shaped roof panel and the first and second side panels. Each panel includes one or more of inflatable sections.
A METHOD OF FORMING A BUILDING
There is currently a demand for buildings that can be formed both quickly and economically. These buildings require the addition of heat insulation to walls or roofs because the materials from which they are otherwise formed have insufficient ability to protect against the cold. This can add undesirable expense and slow down production rates. A method is disclosed of forming a building that addresses this problem. The method comprises arranging a door frame, window frame or edge support frame at a mould and spraying a first spray material onto the outside of the mould so that the spray material sets generally in the shape of the mould and substantially embeds the frame. The first material and the frame is removed from the mould and a second different spray material is sprayed onto the first spray material to provide a skin therefor.
Temporary homeless shelter
The temporary homeless shelter comprises a reinforced concrete pipe, a rear wall, and a front door. The reinforced concrete pipe may be closed by the rear wall on one end and by the front door on the opposite end. The temporary homeless shelter may be adapted to protect a homeless person from the weather. Air may flow through the reinforced concrete pipe when one or more rear vents and one or more front vents are open. Heated water may be pumped through tubing incorporated into a pipe wall to heat the interior of the reinforced concrete pipe. A storage area located under a bed platform within the reinforced concrete pipe may be operable to store personal belongings.
Arch Grid Bolted Sphere Node Rotating and Fixing Device and Arch Grid Mounting System
An arch grid bolted sphere node rotating and fixing device and an arch grid mounting system. The device includes a base, a fixing part, and a rotating part. The fixing part includes a groove body, a first vertical plate, and a second vertical plate. The groove body, the first vertical plate, and the second vertical plate are respectively connected to the base. A notch of the groove body is obliquely upward. The first vertical plate and the second vertical plate are respectively located on opposite sides of the groove body. The first vertical plate is provided with a first through hole. The second vertical plate is provided with a second through hole. The first through hole and the second through hole are formed oppositely. The rotating part includes a first rod piece, a rotating sphere, and a second rod piece that are connected in sequence.
SECTIONAL ARCHED TUNNEL CONNECTED BY TENSION
The present utility model relates to the technical field of agricultural planting equipment, in particular to a sectional arched tunnel connected by tension, which comprises a first connecting rod and a second connecting rod between which a metal connector is connected. Both sides of a surface of the metal connector are provided with threaded connection holes, and both ends of the metal connector are provided with connecting holes. The present utility model can adapt to different ridge widths by changing number and bending amplitude of the connecting rods and it is convenient to connect without pressing, so as to meet requirements for different ridge widths.
FORMWORK MECHANISM FOR CASTING AND MOULDING CONCRETE, COMPRISING A COFFER WITH A SHEET AND FOUR PLATES ARRANGED AROUND THE SHEET'S PERIMETER
The present invention corresponds to a formwork mechanism for casting and molding concrete, comprising a coffer having a sheet and four plates around the sheet perimeter. Each plate has holes arranged on its front face. Also, the formwork mechanism includes a structural element, connected to one of the plates by fixing means. On the other hand, the structural element has lateral perforations that are aligned with the holes of one of the coffer plates. Fixing means pass through the holes and side holes. The structural element may be a beam, a three or four-beam T, and combinations thereof. On the other hand, using several coffers interconnected with structural elements, formworks are constructed for casting flat reticular slabs; and also for curved reticular slabs with greater slab thickness near the beams supporting the slabs in comparison to the span of the slabs.
Arch building structure
An arch building structure includes a plurality of structural arch assemblies, a plurality of purlins, and a plurality of flat roofing sections. The plurality of structural arch assemblies is positioned parallel and offset from each other upon the length of the building. The plurality of purlins is positioned perpendicular to the plurality of structural arch assemblies and radially positioned on the vertexes of the plurality of structural arch assemblies to further strengthen the building. Each of the plurality of flat roofing sections is mounted across a corresponding pair of adjacent purlins from the plurality of purlins so that the building roof can be completed.
