Adjustable height desk with acoustical dome
A novel work station is directed to a novel workstation which incorporates an acoustical dome for increased acoustic and visual privacy for the user. The workstation further is adjustable in height such that it is able to accommodate a range of users from the 5.sup.th percentile seated female to the 95.sup.th percentile standing male according to the dictates of ANSI/HFES100-2007 national ergonomic standard. The workstation is further designed to be in electrical and data communication with other workstations to optimize the workstation density in an open working environment without compromising user privacy.
MULTI-PURPOSE BUILDING
The invention relates to a dome- or sphere-shaped multipurpose building, which is a prefabricated quickly erected structure and can be used for erecting the buildings of various functional purpose, of different number of storeys, both warm and cold, including residential buildings, cottages, industrial, administrative, sport, agricultural, warehouse, temporary portable buildings, arch structures, atrium roof, atrium room, located above the top floor of a building. Technical result of the claimed invention is to reduce the material consumption, installation time, increase the strength and stability of the building, including under conditions of asymmetrical and dynamic loads, and to increase energy efficiency and translucence of the building. The multipurpose dome-shaped building comprises a bearing frame having a base and an apex in the form of polygons of different perimeters, a roof in the apex of the bearing frame coated with a facing material, wherein the bearing frame is made in the form of at least three pyramidal volumetric trusses arranged symmetrically with respect to the base center and rigidly connected to each other in the upper part by at least one horizontal beam, and wherein the volumetric trusses are arranged in such a way that the horizontal distance between closest posts of neighboring volumetric trusses remains the same over the entire height from the base and up to the top of the neighboring trusses.
Adjustable Height Desk with Acoustical Dome
The present invention is directed to a novel workstation which incorporates an acoustical dome for increased acoustic and visual privacy for the user.
Immersion platform
An immersion platform includes a dome configured to display a predetermined scene, wherein the dome includes an outer perimeter. A controller is configured to display the predetermined scene on the dome and to activate the plurality of accessories according to a predetermined timeline. A camera is configured to allow a user to stream the user to other platforms while the user is using the platform.
TRIAXIAL WEAVE FOR THE PRODUCTION OF STIFF STRUCTURAL MANIFOLDS FOR USE IN STRUCTURES AND WEAVING METHOD THEREOF
Woven structures must be made of materials that are sufficiently flexible that they can be woven together. This often results in a finished structure that is also flexible. Thus weaving has long been considered inadequate for the production of buildings and other objects requiring high levels of stiffness. The present invention relates to increasing the stiffness of triaxial-weave woven structural manifolds. The present invention provides for a new type of triaxial weave that allows for structural members of greater diameter and stiffness that are still flexible enough to accommodate the geometry of the weave. The result is structures having approximately eight times the structural stiffness of conventional triaxial-weave woven structures.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRIMARILY ERECTING CURVILINEAR BUILDINGS USING A PLURALITY OF INTERCONNECTED STRUCTURAL TUBES/SANDWICH PANELS
A system and method for primarily erecting curvilinear buildings using a plurality of interconnected structural tubes/sandwich panels is provided. Fabricating structural tubing comprises: connecting a fibrous and flexible lining to an inner surface of a flexible outer membrane, wherein the lining is saturated in a curable material that forms into a solid foam material when cured; and curing the curable material. Fabricating a sandwich panel comprises: connecting a first fibrous and flexible lining to an inner surface of a first flexible outer membrane, wherein the first lining is saturated in a curable material that forms into a solid foam when cured; connecting a second fibrous and flexible lining to an inner surface of a second flexible outer membrane, wherein the second lining is saturated in a curable material that forms into a solid foam when cured; and curing the curable material of the first lining and second linings.

METHOD OF MODULAR BUILDING CONSTRUCTION
A modular building system and method of construction that includes the steps of: assembling a structure to create a framework as part of a series of modular assemblies; arranging at least one dome, where the at least one dome includes the modular assemblies, and wherein the framework supports the at least one dome; creating four quadrants within each dome which creates a domed hemisphere, wherein each quadrant shape consists of at least three equal edges in a 90-degree arc; designing a first chord factor, second chord factor and a third chord factor associated respectively with a first chord length, a second chord length and a third chord length for each quadrant, where the chords are edge lengths that determine a radius of each dome and said edge length equals a chord factor multiplied by a desired dome radius; and attaching modular connectors along edges of the modules and the modular connectors enable the connection of the modular assemblies, further where each of modular connector includes square openings positioned in the center of each modular connector.
FRAME FOR A TRANSPORTABLE SHELTER
A frame for a transportable shelter includes a first base member, a second base member, a plurality of structural members, and a plurality of purlins. Each of the structural members have a first end that is connectable to the first base member, a second that is connectable to the second base member, and at least two interconnecting members that extend between the first end and the second end. A first interconnecting member of a structural member is connectable to a second interconnecting member of the structural member. The plurality of purlins are configured to connect one of the structural members to another structural member.
