A modular platform system includes a plurality of tiles, legs, beams, and brackets. Peripheries of the tiles and top surfaces of the beams are configured so that the tiles can snap on to the beams, allowing for easy creation of a platform. The beams, legs, and brackets are all configured so that the beams and legs are easily connected together for platform system creation.

A mobile home as well as a rocket stove and ventilation assembly suitable for use therein are provided. The mobile home comprises: a housing body having a cuboid shape; and at least one pre-marked area on one or more walls of the housing body for indicating where a cutout for receiving a feature or an appliance therein is to be made. The rocket stove comprises a body containing therein: a vertical chimney for delivering heat to a stove top; a tee having at least three ends; and an elbow interposed and interconnected with the tee and the vertical chimney. One of the at least three ends is for receiving a fuel source therein and one of the at least three ends is connected to the elbow. The ventilation assembly comprises: at least two opposing air filters; and a plurality of fan units positioned side-by-side and sandwiched therebetween.

The subject matter described herein includes a transportable, self-sustaining house or structure for use in disaster relief comprising, a substantially rectangular, steel living section, a water tank connected to and placed on top of the occupied area, a sewer tank connected to and placed below the occupied area, a plurality of solar panels on top of the water tank, a plurality of lines configured for transferring fluid from the water tank to the occupied area and from the water tank to the sewage tank, a plurality of lines configured for transferring waste from the occupied area to the sewage section, wherein, in operation the structure is transported with a substantially empty water tank and charged battery.

A collapsible dwelling includes a front wall assembly, a rear wall assembly, opposed sidewall assemblies, a roof assembly and a floor assembly. The wall assemblies are collapsible to be received between the floor assembly and the roof assembly, and at least one of the roof assembly and the floor assembly defines at least one recess, the, or each, recess being dimensioned to receive an appliance that is mounted on one of the wall assemblies when that wall assembly is in a collapsed configuration.

With regard to mobile residential facilities such as camping cars, provided is a wing body-type truck vehicle to which a removable residential facility is mounted. When installing a residential facility 4 inside a cargo compartment of the wing body-type truck vehicle, fixing mechanisms 5, 6 are used to prevent the relative movement of the residential facility 4 and a load bed of said truck. When separating the residential facility 4 from the cargo compartment, said fixing mechanisms 5, 6 are removed, thus allowing the residential facility to move.

A modular brick or block outdoor structure includes an outdoor structure that is constructed in modular sections. Each modular section is fabricated from a plurality of paving bricks or retaining wall blocks that match the brick or block used to construct the patio. The bricks or blocks are preferably assembled to each other with adhesive. Each modular section includes means for transporting thereof with some type of equipment, if necessary. It is preferable that each modular section include channels to receive lifting forks of an end loader or other suitable transport device, if necessary. However, other methods of transporting the modular section may also be used.

A housing arrangement for floating on water is provided with a plurality of interconnected pontoons—The pontoons have a polygon outline. A plurality of shipping containers are arranged on each of the pontoons. The shipping containers are habitable by providing at least one door and at least one window in the shipping containers and by insulating the walls of the shipping containers. The pair of wheel assemblies include a first hub assembly, having a first wheel and a first attachment mechanism to engage with the one or more tracks of the structure, and a second hub assembly having a second wheel and a second attachment mechanism to engage with the one or more tracks of the structure. A shelter or camper that provides improved portability and protection. The shelter or camper may include rigid walls to offer greater protection from weather, animals, and theft. The shelter or camper may be transitionable between different configurations for different purposes, including an open and expanded configuration for use as a shelter, camper, or sleeping quarters and a compact, closed case configuration for easy storage and transport. To facilitate this, the walls may be foldable, expandable, or collapsible. When the walls are folded or collapsed, roof and floor sections may be connected to each other and may enclose the folded, collapsed walls and internal components within the collapsed closed case.

A modular building unit for construction of a building comprises a structural frame 40 suitable for interconnection to another modular building unit in construction of the building; and a stud frame wall 80/82 internal to and fixed to the frame. The modular building unit is suitable for handling as a shipping container for transport.
