SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR COMPUTER-DETERMINED EFFICIENT BAGGING OF ORDERED ITEMS
The present disclosure provides systems and methods for automated bag packaging, comprising at least one processor; and memory storing comprising: receiving an order comprising at least one item; searching at least one data store to determine one or more properties associated with each item; for each group: performing an optimization process for packaging the at least one item into one or more bags, by: selecting a data structure representing a first bag, the data structure comprising a size of the first bag; iteratively simulating packaging of a largest item of the group into the first bag until all items are packaged in the selected bag; generating at least one set of instructions for packaging the items into the selected bag; and sending the generated instructions to a computer system for display, the instructions including at least one item identifier and one bag identifier.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MANUFACTURED MODULAR CONSTRUCTION
Systems, methods, and devices of the various embodiments may enable manufactured modular construction. The various embodiment manufactured modular construction systems, methods, and devices may offer a solution to the housing shortage worldwide that is less than half the cost of the cost of current modular buildings. Various embodiments may include interlocking vertical and horizontal elements. Various embodiments may include a locking system pulling upper horizontal elements of an embodiment modular building toward lower horizontal elements and/or a foundation or a lower floor of the embodiment modular building to thereby lock vertical elements and vertical panels in place between the upper horizontal elements and the lower horizontal elements, foundation, and/or lower floor. In various embodiments, the locking system may include a shock absorber.
Reinforcing structure for modular building construction
Modular building units comprise, prior to installation at a construction site, a floor, a ceiling, and a plurality of walls which together define a habitable interior, wherein at least one wall is a reinforced wall capable of spanning a spanning distance of at least 50 feet without underlying support. In some embodiments, reinforced walls comprise one or more reinforcing structures. In some embodiments, the spanning distance is at least 60 feet; in some, at least 70 feet; and in some, at least 80 feet. In a further aspect, a method of building construction comprises the steps of: a) constructing a modular building unit according to the present disclosure at an assembly site; b) transporting the modular building unit to a construction site; and c) installing the modular building unit at the construction site, optionally across a unsupported span of at least 50 feet.
RAPIDLY DEPLOYABLE AIR SUPPORTED STRUCTURE SYSTEMS AND RELATED METHODS
Transportable and rapidly deployable air supported structure systems and related methods are disclosed. The air supported structure systems include at least one transportable container. The systems also include a flexible outer membrane configured to couple to a base in a substantially air-tight manner. The systems further include at least one air handling mechanism contained within the at least one container configured to force air between the outer membrane and the base to form an enclosure therebetween via internal air pressure. The systems are configurable between a packaged state with the outer membrane contained within the at least one container, and a deployed state with the outer membrane being coupled to the base and the at least one air handling mechanism forming the enclosure via the internal air pressure. The at least one container may form a portion of the base and/or provide for ingress and egress with the enclosure.
Building space divider system
A building space divider system for providing one or more rooms in a building space, the building space divider system comprising at least two framework beams and coupling strips, in which the framework beams extend in a longitudinal direction, and the framework beams include longitudinal beam coupling parts where two of the framework beams are back-to-back coupled via the coupling strips, each coupling strip comprising two strip parts each having a beam coupling end extending along a longitudinal side of the strip part for coupling to the beam coupling part of the framework beam, and a strip coupling end extending along an opposite longitudinal side of the strip part.
