Prefabricated foldable building module
A prefabricated foldable building module including a central core comprising first and second opposing fixed walls with roof and floor beams interposed therebetween; a plurality of vertically foldably connected walls mounted upon the first and second walls foldable out therefrom; a pair of roof panels, each foldably connected adjacent said roof beam; a pair of floor panels each foldably connected adjacent floor beam: characterized in that the wall panels, roof panels and floor panels may be folded out from their supporting structures in a defined sequence to form an enclosed/partly enclosed building structure, and may be re-folded in reverse sequence to original configuration. Standard modules can be stretched, or joined side by side, end to end or one on top of the other to form larger buildings.
PORTABLE TEMPORARY STRUCTURE
A temporary room structure formed by a series of lightweight rails inserted between opposing posts. Each post has a one or more slots that run along the length of the post. The slots receive the ends of rails and maintain them in place. One or more metallic beams also are inserted between and connected to respective posts to add stability to the structure.
COLLAPSIBLE AND PORTABLE MODULAR DECK SYSTEM
A collapsible and portable deck system comprising: a) a collapsible support frame configured to support a deck base portion comprising a plurality of frame members coupled in a scissor structure and configured to be expanded from a collapsed position to an extended position, comprising i. a plurality of frame members, ii. a plurality of corner upright frame members; iii. a plurality of middle upright frame members; iv. a plurality of upper connector assemblies; and v. a plurality of lower connector assemblies; and b) a modular deck base portion, comprising i. at least two first deck support members, ii. a plurality of second deck support members, and iii. a plurality of interconnected deck boards.
Patterned Conductive Ink Film Absorber for a Foldable Transportable Shelter
Disclosed is a thin-film radio frequency absorber material that is mass-produced by a high-speed manufacturing method of printing a highly controlled pattern of conductive ink squares onto a thin roll film, resulting in a lightweight low-cost radio frequency absorber component that is flexible for use in multiple novel configurations. The roll film material and printed squares are each easily adjustable to a specific size and thickness within the manufacturing process to coincide with control and protections related to variable specific radio and radar wave frequencies. Further integration into the three-layered thin-profile radio frequency energy absorber and reflector assembly provides control and protection properties related to radio and radar frequency, infrared, electromagnetic pulse, electromagnetic interference, and thermal insulation values in structural building panels utilized in lightweight structures such as the foldable transportable structure or other types of building and protection assemblies.
Air Frame Expandable Shelter
A portable shelter that is convertible between a collapsed transport configuration and an expanded operational configuration. The shelter includes a container having a wing wall that is selectively pivotal between a closed position and an open position, and an inflatable tent having a flexible inflatable support structure and a flexible cover. When the wing wall is in the open position, the inflatable support structure is selectively inflatable from a collapsed configuration to an operational configuration to thereby support the cover in an expanded operational configuration above the wing wall, such that the cover forms a sheltered space. The inflatable support structure is selectively deflatable from the operational configuration to the collapsed configuration, whereupon the first wing wall may be pivoted to the closed position to store the tent within an internal space of the container, such that the shelter is in the transport configuration.
Tornado Shelter
A protective enclosure that is primarily constructed from corrugated, symmetrical panel members of uniform shape. The panel members are made from steel. The panel members are connected together to form the walls and roof of the enclosure. The enclosure is connected to a cementitious member to anchor the enclosure. The enclosure is provided with a door that completes the enclosure and allows entry and exit from the enclosure.
Portable shelters, related shelter systems, and methods of their deployment
Method of deployment of portable shelters is described. The shelters or housing units may be deployed in emergency housing situations and may be grouped into systems of shelters.
ISOLATION METHOD AND APPARATUS
Apparatus for use in isolating a subject, the apparatus including a frame movable between collapsed and erected configurations, a body supported by the frame, wherein in the erected configuration, the body defines an internal volume for containing a subject to thereby substantially isolate the subject from a surrounding environment and a door actuator supported by the frame for moving a door between open and closed positions to thereby provide access to the internal volume.
Modular structure for providing on-site protection
The present invention relates to a modular assembly, a site factory, for at least partially enclosing a site during construction of a structure. The modular assembly comprising: a plurality of portal frames, each portal frame comprising two columns and a roof beam, each column and roof beam comprising a plurality of pre-assembled units; a jack-up frame for each column; at least two first rails, each of the first rails being mounted to at least one of the roof beams; at least one second rail slidably mounted to the at least two first rails; and a plurality of panels of a flexible material configured to provide a full enclosure of the site and mounted above the roof beam. The or each second rail is configured to slidably receive at least one lifting device. The pre-assembled units are configured to be connected on site, and lifted using said jack-up frames, to form the portal frames, and wherein each first rail, and the or each second rail are configured to be mounted on the portal frames on site.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A PORTABLE DIGITAL POD
A system and method for a portable digital pod is provided. Generally, the system comprises a collapsible pod having a framework that can be expanded and collapsed using a hydraulic/pneumatic pack. The system may also comprise a computing device and display, wherein a user interface of the computing device may be manipulated by a user in a way that causes data of the system to be transmitted to said display and presented in a display user interface of said display. Security devices/methods of the system may be used to prevent unwanted access to the system and the data contained therein.
