EXPANDABLE AND COLLAPSIBLE BUILDING UNIT
A collapsible and deployable building unit includes a base frame, a roof frame, and hingedly mounted walls that fold between collapsed and deployed configurations. Right and left side walls include rollers at their top corners that engage tracks in the roof frame, allowing the walls to pivot upward while rolling the roof frame to its deployed height. Front and rear walls are hingedly mounted to lay flat in the collapsed state and pivot upward after side wall deployment. The unit provides simplified assembly and reduced space requirements for transport and storage through an efficient folding mechanism and rolling wheel system. Applications include temporary/permanent housing, offices, laboratories, medical clinics, emergency shelters, and retail spaces.
System And Method For Portable Restroom Structure Assembly
A portable toilet assembly is disclosed. The portable toilet assembly may include a plurality of enclosure walls. The enclosure walls are connected at respective edges of the enclosure walls. A connection member is disclosed to engage the edges of the enclosure walls to connect to the respective walls.
Molded plastic storage shed structure
The present subject matter discloses an outdoor storage shed utilizing molded plastic components or panels. A storage shed structure can comprise foldable corner panels and one or more interlocked teeth couplings. The foldable corner panel can pivot at integrated folding grooves to serve as corners. The interlocked teeth couplings comprise a plurality of protrusions and matched recesses arranged on both sides of engaged panels. Furthermore, the storage shed can come with pre-constructed shelf grooves in the foldable corner panels. The storage shed can have a concaved door frame and a recessed door.
CONTAINER STACKING FOR HOUSING
A modular housing system includes a number of side beams, a number of transverse beams each spanning two or more of the side beams, at least one spine beam spanning two or more of the spanning beams, a number of isosceles angle irons provided to exterior surfaces of the side beams, a number of scalene angle irons provided to exterior surfaces of the side beams opening away from the isosceles angle irons and a number of corner support braces each coupled to one of the side beams abutting one of the isosceles angle irons.
Storage shed structure
The present subject matter discloses an outdoor storage shed utilizing plastic components or panels. A storage shed structure can comprise foldable corner panels, which pivot at integrated folding grooves to serve as corners. Each leaf of a foldable corner panel can be fitted with a unique coupling mechanism to interact with an additional panel. Furthermore, the storage shed structure can come with pre-constructed shelf grooves in the foldable corner panels. Storage shelves can be slotted into these grooves, thereby boosting the overall stability of the storage shed.
DEMOUNTABLE CONSTRUCTION AND COMPONENT THEREFOR
A connection member (60, 60) for connecting two elongate frame members (93,120, 122, 126, 128) of a demountable frame building (168) has an attachment portion (62, 62) for attachment to one frame member (120, 122, 126, 128) and a receiving portion (64, 64) for sliding engagement with a hollow end of a second frame member (93). The attachment portion and receiving portion are integrally formed from a single piece of material. The receiving portion has a rectangular cross-section smaller than and offset relative to the rectangular cross-section of the attachment portion to define a shoulder (66, 66) around the receiving portion on the attachment portion of greater depth (68, 68, 72, 72) on at least one side (70, 70, 74, 74) of the receiving portion. The receiving portion has a screw-threaded passage (86, 86) for a locking member (150) to secure the receiving portion in the second frame member, the passage opening for receipt of the locking member on an opposite side (88, 88, 90, 90) of the receiving portion. One embodiment (60) has a shim (108) for guiding the sliding engagement.
Building System
A building system (10) comprising a first module (12) having a first and second ring members (14, 16). A channel (24) is provided around each of the ring members (14, 16) and brackets (20) are provided for engagement with the ring members (14, 16). Each bracket (20) comprises a base portion (36) receivable in the channel (24) and connecting portion (38) extending from the base portion (36). The base portion (36) comprises a planar central portion (42) and side portions (40, 41). When received in the channel (24), the side portions (40, 41) are located adjacent and secured to upper and lower walls (30, 31) of the ring members (14, 16). The connecting portion (38) comprises a planar wall portion extending from the central portion (36) to engage with cross members (26) of the building module to support a floor structure or a roof structure.
FOLDABLE STRUCTURE AND METHOD
Described is a system, method and apparatus for stowing and deploying a roof of a structure in order to transport the structure on municipal streets and highways. An upper portion of a structure comprises two gable walls that are foldable inward, on top of a first floor of the structure. The roof is formed from two independent roof panels that are coupled to each other by a main roofline hinge. Each roof panel is allowed to slide and rotate as the roof is being stowed. When fully stowed, the height of the structure is drastically reduced. Additionally, one or more end structures may be constructed adjacent to a main structure, each end structure capable of being rotated onto one side in order to reduce its height.
