EXTENDABLE STRUCTURE AND RELATIVE MOVEMENT METHOD
An extendable structure adapted to operate between a retracted configuration and at least one at least partially extended configuration includes a box-like body, a foldable floor element, and a foldable ceiling element. The box-like body includes a first and a second upright. The foldable floor element is hinged at a lower portion of the uprights and is configured for being folded and spread out. The foldable ceiling element is hinged at an upper portion of the uprights and is configured for being folded and spread out. In the retracted configuration of the extendable structure, the foldable floor element and the foldable ceiling element are completely housed within the box-like body, which defines an overall size of the extendable structure.
Liftable foldable transportable buildings
A fork tube arrangement for facilitating the movement of a foldable transportable building.
Modular workspace system
A modular workspace system employs a plurality of interchangeable posts, beams/rails, and panels, permitting assembly of modular rooms and modular room structures of varying size, shape, and purpose. Wire management openings permit internal wire management.
Composite Construction for Secure Compartmentalized Enclosure
Disclosed are various secure enclosures and associated composite construction methods. The described enclosures preferably utilize one or more prefabricated concrete walls that are mated to one or more metal panels. The panels include hollow ends that are secured to anchors formed within the prefabricated walls. This connection joins the concrete wall and the metal panel in a secure and tamper proof manner. The disclosed methods allow enclosures to be quickly constructed and easily configured depending upon the particular needs of the facility. The enclosures are cost effective, scalable, and easy to assemble.
PREFABRICATED MOVABLE PHOTOSENSITIVELY ADJUSTABLE SOLAR BIONIC LANDSCAPE PAVILION CAPABLE OF BEING DISASSEMBLED AND CONSTRUCTED QUICKLY
The disclosure relates to a prefabricated movable photosensitively adjustable solar bionic landscape pavilion capable of being disassembled and constructed quickly. The landscape pavilion comprises a support structure, a ceiling, a movable platform, a linkage system, a lighting system, and an energy system. The support structure is arranged at the center of the movable platforms and forms large-area shelter space with the ceiling. The ceiling may rotate around the support structure in the height direction of the support structure, so as to be unfolded or folded. The movable platform is a base of the landscape pavilion, undertakes the support structure and the ceiling above the movable platform, and meanwhile, provides fixing space for the linkage system, the lighting system, and the energy system.
RELOCATABLE HABITAT UNIT SIMULATING A REAL BUILDING STRUCTURE
A field-deployable construction set for the assembly of a Relocatable Habitat Unit (RHU) and associated panels, used for simulating real world environments without costly construction expenses. The various panels, supports, and accessories used to construct an RHU may be interchangeable and readily modified in the field with minimal tools, further providing significant options for reconfiguration of floor, ceiling, and wall panels without having to disassemble the structure. The exterior of the lightweight panels may be customizable to provide a realistic environment for high quality training in a versatile system that is deployable by truck or aircraft and can be assembled with only a single tool. The RHU or components thereof may simulate a real building structure both visually and in a non-visual domain such as via electromagnetic sensors.
Modular construction system and method of use thereof
A modular construction system, including, first and second walls, each having first and second broad surfaces. Each wall includes throughgoing connector-receiving bores. The modular construction system further includes a connector including a longitudinal body portion arranged along a longitudinal axis and having a first width. A head portion of the longitudinal body portion includes a base surface having a second width in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis. A pair of protrusions extend outwardly from the longitudinal body portion and are disposed between the base surface and a tail end of the longitudinal body portion. The protrusions include an engagement surface facing toward the base surface and having a third width, the third width being greater than the first width.
Equipment and methods for erecting a transportable foldable building structure
A foldable building structure package having a first folded configuration and a second unfolded configuration. The package has a first enclosure component portion and an enclosure member selected from the group consisting of an enclosure component and a second enclosure component portion, with the enclosure member being joined to and moveable with respect to the first enclosure component portion from a folded position to an unfolded position to form a first part of the building structure in its second unfolded configuration. There is a first deployment bracket secured to the first enclosure component portion, a deployment strut adapted to be secured to the first deployment bracket at a first end and having a rotatable sheave at a second end, and a fastener positioned on the enclosure member for receiving a line run from the tang over the rotatable sheave.
Modular Shelter Structure
A modular shelter structure is an apparatus that provides readily available housing for a variety of environments. The apparatus includes a shelter, a plurality of first locking mechanisms, and a plurality of second locking mechanisms. The shelter includes a floor base, a plurality of portable walls, and at least one roof panel. The floor base balances the shelter across various terrains. The plurality of portable walls surrounds the floor base and defines an interior environment with the floor base. The interior environment is enclosed with the at least one roof panel. The plurality of portable walls is attached onto the floor base with the plurality of first locking mechanisms. Similarly, the plurality of portable walls is attached onto the roof panel with the plurality of second locking mechanisms. The plurality of first locking mechanisms and the plurality of second locking mechanisms each include an inner tube and an outer sleeve.
MODULAR FOLDABLE BUILDING SYSTEM AND METHOD
This invention provides a modular folding building structure having at least one room unit assembled from two foldable modules that are coupled together and a roof. Room units can be used singly or ganged together to form multiroom structures. Each room unit has a floor that may include floor panels or floor planks supported by a floor frame. The walls on each foldable module are connected to a base with hinges, such that each room module has a storage position in which the walls are folded down parallel to the floor. Each module also has an erect position in which the walls are unfolded to a vertical orientation perpendicular to the floor by rotating a wall around the hinges. The walls may be solid with wall panels and appropriate openings for doors, windows, and in-wall air-conditioning. Alternatively, the walls may be substantially openings.
