MOBILE SERVICE BLOCK SYSTEM AND METHOD
A service block system defining a living space for a user of said service block system, the service block system including: a) a base frame contained in the living space and delimiting a pair of corresponding rooms of the living space, the base frame supporting at least one service unit selected from the group comprising a bathroom unit and a kitchen unit; b) a displacement mechanism operatively connected to the base frame for displacement of the base frame within the living space in order to adjustably vary corresponding sizes of the rooms in accordance with a displacement of the base frame about the living space of the service block system; and c) at least one connection selected from the group comprising plumbing and electrical connections, for connecting the mobile service block system to a corresponding infrastructure of a building associated to the service block system.
NON-BEARING MODULAR CONSTRUCTION SYSTEM
Methods and apparatus facilitate the construction of a building using prefabricated building units, each having a horizontal upper exterior surface and a plurality of vertical wall surfaces, wherein at least some of the prefabricated building units have at least one hollow column formwork structure. The prefabricated building units are lowered onto a pre-existing base at a construction site. A first story of the building is created by arranging a plurality of the prefabricated building units adjacent to each other on the base. Structural bearing material is applied to fill the hollow column formwork structures to create structural columns connected to the structural deck. Structural bearing material is applied to the horizontal upper exterior surfaces of the adjacent prefabricated building units to create a single structural deck over the prefabricated building units.
CORE FOR BUILDING
A core for a building is adapted for use with a centralized, modular functional performance infrastructure system affording highly efficient use of floorplan. The core includes a structural frame forming a plurality of compartments containing the functional performance infrastructure system components that may be accessed readily for servicing, maintenance, and replacement. An integrated network interconnecting the compartments affords flexibility in the functional performance infrastructure system component locations in the core, while providing common locations for interfacing the components with distribution and collection systems servicing the building.
RAPID DEPLOY SELF POWERED ALTERNATIVE EMERGENCY RESPONSE FACILITIES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
The subject disclosure relates to rapid deployable, self-powered, alternative emergency response facilities, systems and methods.
Systems and methods for automatically reconfiguring a building structure
Techniques for automatically modulating a physical configuration of a reconfigurable building structure. A reconfigurable building structure may be constructed of physical elements that are movable with respect to one another to facilitate actuating the reconfigurable building structure between a plurality of different physical configurations. The physical configuration of a reconfigurable building structure may be adjusted to accommodate for physical dimensions of an item that is going to be moved into the reconfigurable building structure. For example, a spacing between two shelves may be expanded in response to an order being placed for a large item. In this way, when the item is delivered to a physical address associated with the reconfigurable building structure, various physical characteristics of the reconfigurable building structure may have already been modulated to accept the item.
Tile setting structure and method of setting tile
A method of setting tile includes constructing a floor panel and a plurality of wall panels and attaching each of the plurality of wall panels to either the floor panel or one of the other wall panels with a waterproof caulk. Each of the wall panels includes a first rigid layer, a second rigid layer attached to the first rigid layer by a thinset mortar, and a waterproofing layer formed of a flexible material and attached to the second rigid layer by the thinset mortar.
COMPOUND STRUCTURES WITH SCALABLE INTERIOR ROOM SIZES USING MODULAR UNITS TO FORM MOBILE, SEMI-PERMANENT AND PERMANENT STRUCTURES
Various embodiments are described herein for mobile units having an interior defined by fewer than four side walls, the mobile units being adapted to be interconnected with at least one like or different mobile unit, the at least one like or different mobile unit having fewer than four side walls, thereby to jointly form a large interior room with a longitudinal support structure for the roof structure of at least one of the mobile units.
MODULAR FACTORY BUILDING
A modular factory building, comprising a plurality of modules (10), the module (10) including a framework (11) provided with an apparatus installation area for installing process equipment (13) and/or utility equipment (14), an air duct system, a pipe system and a cable tray system, wherein the air duct system, the pipe system and the cable tray system are arranged on the framework (11) and are connected with the process equipment (13) and/or the utility equipment (14). The afore-described modular factory building is capable of improving the construction efficiency, reducing the construction period, and saving the construction cost.
Plant construction module, plant, manufacturing method for plant construction module, and plant construction method
To provide a plant construction module that is easily manufactured and easily transported. Provided is a plant construction module (10) for a plant configured to process fluid, the plant construction module including: a plant structural part (3, 12) including a pipe structural part (3) serving as a piping through which the fluid flows, a processing-unit structural part (21) serving as a processing unit configured to process the fluid to be transferred into/from the processing unit through the piping; and a frame unit (11), which has a contour enabling the frame unit to be arranged in a horizontal direction, or to be stacked in an up-and-down direction, wherein the plant structural part (3, 12) and the frame unit (11) have an integrated structure.
Smart sanitary system and control method thereof
A smart sanitary system and a control method thereof are provided. A fixed display, a movable display, a shower unit and a toilet unit are provided. Motion of the movable display is controlled relative to the fixed display. The operation of the shower unit or the toilet unit is controlled according to the position of the movable display. Accordingly, a diversified space is provided, and the operation of sanitary equipment is triggered with the variation of the space.
