TRUSS ASSEMBLY & METHOD OF CONSTRUCTING A TRUSS STRUCTURE
Pins are stored on a truss body and are used to secure connections between separate truss bodies when creating a truss structure, which itself may act as a support for displays, lighting systems, and/or sound systems. Each of the pins is tethered to a pin holder so as not to be lost or damaged. The pin holder retains the pins on the truss body and thereby reduces the likelihood of collisions that occur between the tethered pins and truss members while the truss assembly is in transit. This in turn increases the likelihood that the structural integrity of the pins, the truss members and the tether is maintained during transit. The pin holder and tether allow the correct number of pins to be shipped to the venue where the truss structure is to be constructed.
CONCRETE DOWEL PLACEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
A concrete dowel placement system and methods for making the same. The system allows for accurate and easy substantially-parallel or parallel placement of slip dowels within sections of concrete so that adjacent sections of concrete may be allowed to undergo thermal expansion and contraction while remaining in a common plane without cracking or faulting. The system includes a coupler and a sheath. The sheath is configured to be slidably extensible over the coupler and may be held to the coupler by friction. Additionally, a method of constructing the concrete dowel placement system includes extruding material to form two tubes of different sizes. The tubes are then attached to each other, then material is extruded to form a sheath. Alternatively, construction may include extruding material to form a tube, then removing some of the material from the tube in order to form a coupler.

SNAP JOINT AND METHOD OF USE
A snap joint for securing construction modules together on a modular construction site, the snap joint comprising a male member mounted on a first construction module and a female member mounted on a second construction module. The female member housing locking members, a tumbler and biasing members biasing the locking members against the tumbler. The male member having shaft engageable within the female member, through a base stop of the tumbler, along a trigger path in a manner to push the tumbler out of interference with the locking members, thereby freeing the locking members to transversally engage with the shaft.

Concrete dowel slip tube assembly
A concrete dowel slip tube assembly is provided for use in maintaining a planner consistency of a cured concrete slab formed on a support surface. The assembly comprises a plurality of elongate slip tubes, each having a length dimension and a tubular hollow interior compartment. Dowels are slidingly engageable to the hollow interior compartment to allow for translation along the interior compartment. A support frame defines a plurality of integral slip tube retaining members, disposed at evenly spaced locations along the support frame, the retaining members being configured to receive and engage associated slip tubes to the support frame in a common defined orientation. The support frame and the retaining members are formed as a unitary construction.
LINKING DEVICE
A device for linking separate members of a dowel cradle, comprising a bar; and at least two couplings, located on the bar. A dowel cradle comprising: at least one load transfer dowel; a basket having a pair of elongate members spaced apart from each other to support the load transfer dowel thereon; a device comprising: a bar located between the two elongate members of the basket; and at least two couplings located on the bar, each coupling being attached to a respective one of the elongate members of the basket.
JOINT STRUCTURE AND BUILDING
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a joint structure which comprises a joint member suitable for a butterfly joint, and a building. The joint structure according to the present invention includes a first wood panel, a second wood panel, and a butterfly wedge-shaped joint member for joining the first wood panel and the second wood panel. The joint structure has an allowable yield strength of about 10 kN or more. In one embodiment, the ratio of the bending strength of the wood panels to the bending strength of the joint member in the joint structure is 1:2.2 to 1:3.6. In addition, the joint structure according to the present invention may further include a joint member comprising laminated wood in which a plurality of plate materials are laminated.
