Use of effective part extract of <i>Monochasma savatieri </i>in preparation of drug for treating inflammatory disease or tumor
The present disclosure provides use of an effective part extract of Monochasma savatieri in preparation of a drug for treating an inflammatory disease or a tumor. In the present disclosure, an effective part of Monochasma savatieri is separated and purified by various separation and purification methods (including solvent extraction, macroporous resin column chromatography, MCI column separation, and Sephadex LH-20 gel column separation) separately, to obtain the effective part extract of Monochasma savatieri. The effective part extract of Monochasma savatieri is capable of significantly inhibiting secretion of TNF-, and significantly inhibiting proliferation of breast cancer cells and lung cancer cells, thereby effectively treating the inflammatory disease or the tumor. The present disclosure provides a favorable theoretical basis for finding a drug that can effectively treat the inflammatory disease or the tumor from the Monochasma savatieri, which is of great significance to development of novel drugs.
Post extraction purification of terpenes
A method of purifying cannabis derived terpenes includes first providing cannabis material having a detectable amount of tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (THCA), adding a solvent to the cannabis material, spinning the cannabis material in a centrifuge to separate crystallized THCA from a high terpene extract. Decarboxilating the THCA with heat to yield tetrahydrocannabinol. The high terpene extract is deposited into a vacuum oven to reduce pressure and volatilize terpenes from the high terpene extract. Next the terpenes are pumped into a cold trap to condense terpenes from the high terpene extract. Next, the condensed terpenes are cooled at a temperature between 50 C. and 0 C. to remove water from the condensed terpenes and yield purified terpenes. The purified terpenes are applied to an edible food product containing decarboxylated tetrahydrocannabinol. In an alternate embodiment, the tetrahydrocannabinol and the purified terpenes are combined or recombined and mixed directly into a precooked edible food product.
PURIFIED CANNABINOID PRODUCT AND SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
A purified lipid-based solution including cannabinoids is manufactured by providing a lipid solution including an array of triglycerides, cannabinoids and water soluble contaminants. Adding water to the lipid solution to create a mixture and heating the mixture in a pressure vessel to a temperature above the melting point of the lipid solution. The mixture is agitated to dissolve the water soluble contaminants and electrocoagulated. The mixture is cooled to cause the triglycerides and cannabinoids to solidify. The water is separated from the mixture to remove water soluble contaminants, precipitated contaminants, suspended solids and colloids from the mixture to yield a purified lipid solution.
