MODULAR INSULATED WALL SYSTEM
A modular insulated wall system for attaching to a wall having a plurality of insulated wall panels. Each panel has a top-side surface and a substantially parallel bottom-side surface. The top-side surface and bottom-side surface each are complementary stepped and substantially parallel in a first direction. The panels have a front surface and a substantially parallel back surface. The wall system also has a plurality of substantially parallel z-girts. The z-girts are engaged with the stepped surfaces of the plurality of panels. The wall system also has a plurality of substantially parallel support members in a second direction. The support members affixed to the z-girts and abutting the back surface of the panels.

Integrated fiber cement and foam as insulated cladding with enhancements
An integrated fiber cement and foam cladding system is provided that incorporates foam or similar light weight material to improve the insulation capacity of the cladding system. The system includes at least a fiber cement layer and a foam layer disposed on the backside of the fiber cement layer. The system improves the R-value of the building, a measure of the building's resistance to transferring heat or thermal energy.

FREE-STANDING WALL ARRANGEMENT AND METHODS
A free-standing wall includes concrete base blocks adjacent to each other forming a base course; a first set of concrete wall blocks stacked on the base course and on each other to form a first wall face; and a second set of concrete wall blocks stacked on the base course and on each other to form a second wall face that faces the opposite direction from the first wall face and that has the same number of courses as the first plurality of wall blocks. Methods of constructing the wall arrangement include laying the base blocks next to each other end to end; stacking individual blocks of a first set of blocks on the base course and then on each other to form a first wall face; stacking individual blocks of the second set of blocks on the base course and then on each other to form a second wall face that faces a direction opposite of the first wall face.

Construction Method to Reinforce Masonry Walls with Wood
This disclosure relates to masonry construction of residential houses using prefabricated masonry panels or blocks, such as Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) panels or Concrete Masonry Units (CMU). Unlike existing masonry construction methods, this masonry structure is reinforced by common wood studs as join keys. All wood studs are individually strap-tied directly to the foundation and horizontally bound together to form a network of cells enclosing masonry blocks throughout the entire building. Considerations are given to prevent wood studs absorbing moisture from masonry material.
