Use of sacrificial agents in manufacture of gypsum wallboard
The present invention relates to the use of sacrificial agents to counteract the deleterious impact of gypsum contaminants on the effectiveness of certain stucco additives, particularly, water reducing agents and foaming agents, in a stucco slurry used to make gypsum wallboard.
BRACKET AND ASSEMBLY KIT FOR CONNECTING BUILDING COMPONENTS FOR A DRYWALL CONSTRUCTION AND DRYWALL CONSTITUTED THEREWITH
The invention relates to a bracket for connecting components for a drywall construction, in particular a bracket for a slidable fastening, preferably a slidable ceiling-side fastening, in the framework of a drywall, preferably a bracket for a drywall with a planked, preferably multi-planked, framework. Furthermore, the invention relates to an assembly kit and a drywall with at least one such bracket, as well as the use of such a bracket in dry wall construction.
System and method of interlocking wall panels
An interconnectable wall panel system and method of forming and assembling the same are provided. A plurality of wall panels are provided that are interconnectable in a predetermined manner and arrangement, and wherein the wall panels comprise features for enhancing ease and accuracy of assembly. Wall panel members of the present disclosure are suitable for use in constructing modular building units, such as bathroom pods.
EAZY Supporting Holding and Clamping System
The present invention relates to a supporting, holding and clamping tool system and a method associated with the system. With respect to the system, it is a pair of devices and attachments designed to attach to a wall to support construction sheathing while securing it to the wall, which may also be used for a versatile clamping device.
This system can be used by one person to facilitate installing heavy sheets of sheet rock, Siding, plywood or other materials to be installed on the vertical wall or surface.
The devices may also be attached a 24 board or other dimensional board to turn lumber into a versatile clamp, or attached to a work bench to use a portion of a workbench to clamp, hold, or support materials.
The core components of the invention are: a mounting base plate, screw body, adjustment screw, clamping head, saddle clamp, drywall attachment and removable pins which, generally speaking, are configured as follows: The mounting base plate is attached to the wall, lumber, workbench or other materials with common wood screws or drywall screws, the screw body is the part which is drilled and threaded to receive the adjustment screw which is attached to the clamping head via a swivel.
With respect to the system it should be further noted that The system includes accessories such as a saddle clamp which allows attaching to a 24 lumber with out marring or making screw holes, an accessory part that can attach to the clamp head which prevents sheathing from slipping off the clamp head, and two types of removable handles. With the handles removed there is a hex nut machined in the tail of the adjustment screw and philips slots milled in to the tail of the adjustment screw allowing for use with a nut driver or a screw driver.
With respect to the associated method, In order to carry out the method the following core steps are followed: For sheathing support attach 2 of the devices to vertical studs, set the sheathing on the clamping heads, use the adjustment screw to level or fine position the materials.
The system may be attached to a board (lumber) 2 devices at any distance facing each other desired to accommodate the materials to be clamped. Or the devices may be mounted facing away from each other to spread or hold materials a specific distance apart from each other.
The devices may be mounted on a work bench either with screws, or the removable pins may be installed in the underside of the mounting plate in threaded holes spaced 1 inch on center which corresponding to a series of holes which may be drilled in the work bench or lumber or other surface at 1 intervals in a straight line and may be quickly positioned simpl
Wall Panel System
A wall system comprising a frame and one or more panels removably attached to the frame, wherein the one or more panels are positioned over one or more cutouts of the frame to form a substantially coplanar surface.
Hinging drywall apparatus and method
Described herein is a drywall apparatus including drywall liner. A first gypsum-containing segment is disposed on an internal side of the drywall liner, and a second gypsum-containing segment is disposed on the internal side of the drywall liner such that a groove exists between the first segment and the second segment. The drywall liner connects the first segment to the second segment such that the first segment and the second segment are capable of hinging about a hinge axis parallel to the groove.
Partition Comprising Boards Mounted Onto Upright Elongate Members and Method For Constructing The Same
A partition (10), mounted on a mounting surface, comprises a plurality of elongate upright members (16, 18), a first board (20) and a second board (22). The first board is mounted on one side of a pair of the elongate upright members that are adjacent to each other, and the second board is mounted on the other side of the same pair of adjacent elongate upright members, so as to provide a cavity (24) between the pair of elongate upright members and the first and second boards. The partition further comprises a spacer (26) that is located within the cavity, the maximum dimension of the spacer in the through-thickness direction of the partition being at least 90% of the separation of the two boards. The spacer may help to reduce the extent of inward bowing of the boards between adjacent elongate upright members, so that, for example, the upright members may be spaced further apart
Lighting drywall
Techniques for smart light and lighting drywall are provided. A system and/or method can comprise a smart light comprising at least one light bulb; and a lighting drywall comprising: a power source; a mesh configured to provide power from the power source using a wireless power transfer mechanism; wherein the smart light is removably attachable to a plurality of locations on the lighting drywall and configured to receive the power using the wireless power transfer mechanism at respective locations of the plurality of locations.
CORNER STRUCTURE FOR STUDDED WALLS
