Wall system
A building construction includes a plurality of vertically oriented studs, each extending between a floor and a ceiling of a building, each stud including a first and second stud sections in parallel, spaced apart relation, and a connecting wall which connects together the first and second stud sections in the parallel, spaced apart relation, each stud section including a central wall having lengthwise extending recesses, and two wing walls extending from opposite side edges of the central wall; and side connecting panels for connecting together wing walls of horizontally spaced apart studs, with the outer surface of each side connecting panel being coplanar with the outer surface of each respective central wall.
Lighting drywall
Techniques for smart light and lighting drywall are provided. A system and/or method can comprise a smart light comprising at least one light bulb; and a lighting drywall comprising: a power source; a mesh configured to provide power from the power source using a wireless power transfer mechanism; wherein the smart light is removably attachable to a plurality of locations on the lighting drywall and configured to receive the power using the wireless power transfer mechanism at respective locations of the plurality of locations.
SYSTEM, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SUBSTANTIALLY AIRTIGHT AREA SEPARATION WALL
An area separation wall (ASW) may include gypsum liner panels and structural elements located between adjacent ones of the gypsum liner panels. A sealing material may be located between the gypsum liner panels and the structural elements, and between adjacent ones of the structural elements. The sealing material may form seals therebetween, such that the ASW is substantially airtight when assembled. In addition, the ASW may include a fire rating of at least 2 hours in compliance with ANSI/UL 263.
USE OF SACRIFICIAL AGENTS IN MANUFACTURE OF GYPSUM WALLBOARD
The present invention relates to the use of sacrificial agents to counteract the deleterious impact of gypsum contaminants on the effectiveness of certain stucco additives, particularly, water reducing agents and foaming agents, in a stucco slurry used to make gypsum wallboard.
Wall construction system with drywall composite columns and method for wall construction
Disclosed are a wall construction system with drywall composite columns and a method for constructing walls using thin sheet steel sections in concrete composite construction for erecting story-high walls with at least one-sided planking with building boards, in particular for residential buildings. Structural loads of solid ceilings and facade walls are absorbed via the composite columns arranged in a modular grid within the wall plane. The joining of the composite columns takes place at the column head over a concrete beam on which the ceiling rests. In-filling wall or facade elements may be arranged between the composite columns. The composite columns include a concrete composite column with a sheet metal reinforcement and a spatially offset thin-walled sheet steel section for mounting drywall thereto even after the metal reinforcement has been filled with concrete. The sheet metal reinforcement and the thin-walled sheet steel section may have different material qualities and thicknesses.
System and method of interlocking wall panels
An interconnectable wall panel system and method of forming and assembling the same are provided. A plurality of wall panels are provided that are interconnectable in a predetermined manner and arrangement, and wherein the wall panels comprise features for enhancing ease and accuracy of assembly. Wall panel members of the present disclosure are suitable for use in constructing modular building units, such as bathroom pods.
INTERIOR BUILDING MATERIALS
The present invention intends to provide a technique by which, in an interior building material which is represented by a gypsum board and to which a magnet does not attach, the surface of such an interior building material can be modified so that a magnet can attach to the surface by simple means that can be put into practical use, a wall face and the like for which a stopper with a magnet, which is a substitute for a thumbtack, and a magnet sheet are usable can thereby be formed, and an interior building material which has realized favorable construction efficiency such that the interior building material can be easily cut with a cutter knife or the like can be made, and this object is realized by providing an interior building material having a plurality of sheet-like magnetic materials fixed to at least a portion of a surface or back surface of a plate-like base material to which a magnet does not attach, wherein adjacent magnetic materials are disposed in such a way as to have a portion where the adjacent magnetic materials are in contact with each other, or adjacent magnetic materials are disposed through a gap having a narrow portion.
MODULAR ARCHITECTURAL WALL SYSTEM
A modular, lightweight, nonload bearing, space dividing architectural wall system. The architectural wall system configured to be installed in an opening defined by one or more studs of an interior wall and to interlock with one or more at least partially surrounding panels of sheet rock adhered to the one or more studs. The architectural wall system including one or more modular panels, each modular panel including at least a three sided extruded metal perimeter frame having a cross-section including a rectangular tubular portion and a pair of opposed sheet rock accommodating brackets, each defining a channel configured to receive an edge of the one or more at least partially surrounding panels of sheet rock, thereby interlocking the perimeter frame with the at least partially surrounding panels of sheet rock to secure the perimeter frame to the interior wall and to provide a finished appearance to the opening.
INSULATING WALL PANELS FOR BUILDING CONSTRUCTION AND RELATED METHODS
Wall panels for building construction may include a panel of drywall material including a room-interior-facing surface and a room-exterior-facing surface and a radiant barrier including a reflective material located proximate to the room-exterior-facing surface. A corrugated sheet may be interposed between the panel of drywall material and the radiant barrier, the corrugated sheet forming pockets of air between the panel of drywall material and the corrugated sheet and between the radiant barrier and the corrugated sheet.
