Construction kit consisting of wall elements and connectors to be inserted therebetween in order to erect room dividers
09976301 · 2018-05-22 · ·

The construction kit consisting of wall elements and connectors to be inserted therebetween is designed in order to erect room dividers. The wall elements are produced by compressing fiber material and have at least one connecting flank which is systematically provided with contours. The connectors are designed as a profiled rail on which there is at least one connection which has systematically arranged mating contours. The contours on the wall elements can be brought into form-fitting engagement with the mating contours on the connectors. The fiber material used for producing the wall elements is a compressed polyester nonwoven fabric or a mixture of natural and synthetic fibers. The connector is an extruded profile, preferably made of aluminum. The construction kit essentially comprises rectilinear wall elements, differently curved wall elements and a three-winged wall element with three connecting flanks.

FRAMELESS MODULAR WALL PANEL SYSTEMS, STRUCTURES AND RELATED METHODS
20180128011 · 2018-05-10 ·

Frameless modular wall systems, frameless modular free-standing wall structures, and related methods are disclosed. The systems and structures include a plurality of panels including a wall portion and connector portions extending from opposing lateral sides of the wall portion, the connector portions each including a wide portion and a narrow portion extending between the wide portions and the panel portion. The systems and structures also include a plurality of connecting posts including connector slots configured to removably accept a connector portion of a panel therein, the connector slots each including a wide portion and a narrow portion corresponding to the wide portion and a narrow portion of the connector portions of the panels. When the plurality of panels and the plurality of connecting posts are removably coupled via the connector portions and the connector slots, the panels and connecting posts form a free-standing wall structure.

Slidable barriers
09938735 · 2018-04-10 ·

Slidable barrier arrangements for a structure having a plurality of stories are described. A first retainer element can be operatively connected to the structure. The retainer element can span a plurality of stories of the structure. The retainer element can include a plurality of retainer segments, including an uppermost retainer segment and one or more lower retainer segments. The one or more lower retainer segments can include a lowermost retainer segment. A barrier and the first retainer element can be brought together such that a portion of the barrier is retainably engaged by the lower retainer segments of the first retainer element. The length of the barrier can substantially correspond to the length of the lower retainer segments. Thus, the uppermost retainer segment can extend vertically above an upper edge side of the barrier. The barrier can be selectively moved, such as by sliding, within the first retainer element.

MODULAR WALL SYSTEM

A wall panel of a moveable and demountable frameless wall panel system that is secured between a floor of a room and a ceiling rail secured to a ceiling of the room. The wall panel includes a frameless panel, an upper clamp assembly, a ceiling track configured to be removably inserted into the ceiling rail, a lower clamp assembly, a first height adjustment mechanism secured to the lower clamp assembly, a second height adjustment mechanism, and a bottom floor channel receiving the first height and second height adjustment mechanisms.

Demountable barrier system

An exemplary demountable barrier system includes a panel, a frame structure having a channel to receive the panel, and a seal compressing against the panel to hold the panel. The seal is slideably attached to the frame structure.

Construction panel assembly and construction method using same

Provided is a construction panel assembly, which is applicable to a detachable method capable of assembling and disassembling a ceiling, a wall or a floor material which partitions spaces of various kinds of buildings. Also, the construction panel assembly allows materials to be reused, so that the generation of construction waste may be minimized.

Partition system
12173500 · 2024-12-24 ·

A partition system includes a primary wall and a secondary wall. The primary wall has a first frame. The secondary wall has a second frame secured to the first frame such that the secondary wall is rotatable about a first axis between a substantially planar position and a nonplanar position relative to the primary wall.

Panel assembly and accessories and method for the use and assembly thereof

A panel assembly includes a vertical panel, an overhang panel and a curved transition panel disposed between the vertical panel and the overhang panel. A fabric layer may be applied to one or more of the various panels by way of a stay being engaged with fabric layer and inserted through an opening in the one or panels. A light assembly may be secured to the panel assembly with a mounting portion. A hook assembly includes vertical and horizontal flanges, with a magnet coupled to the horizontal flange and a hook connected to the vertical flange.

Method of configuring walls

A method of configuring a modular wall having a plurality of different types of interchangeable wall modules with different types of compatible connection components, each connection component being configured to align with another connection component at an interface to form an interface connection for securing the connection components together with one or more universal connection interface members. The modular wall system is configured for on-demand reconfiguration without laborious alteration to aspects of the walls system, modules, and components thereof. Reconfiguration of modules is facilitated by removing the universal connection interface member from the interface connection, thereby releasing the attachment mechanism and allowing rearrangement of the module(s). Replacement of the universal connection interface member secures the reconfigured modules in place in the rearranged wall system.

Partition system

In a partition system partitions there are two or more doors, positioned in a common plane. Adjacent doors have angled sides that meet when the doors are closed. Each door is attached to a post or partition by a pair of hinges and is mounted so that there is a space adjacent each side surface of the doors when the front surfaces of those doors are parallel to the common plane. When the front surfaces of those doors are parallel to the common plane each door is mounted so that and any sight line through each space will intersect at least one of the spaced apart posts and the spaced apart partitions when the front surfaces of the doors are parallel to the common plane. The hinges may provide an axis of rotation that is inward from the edge of the door. The partitions are preferably mounted on frame members that have an L-shaped or inverted T-shaped cross-section. The partitions have a slot along one side which receives the upright portion of the frame members.
