A FLOOR CASSETTE
20230399845 · 2023-12-14 ·

A floor cassette (1) comprising a profiled steel deck (3). A layer of set concrete (4) is provided on top of the profiled steel deck. The steel deck and concrete form a self-supporting structural component. A non-load bearing element such as a joist (2) or insulation (52) is attached to the opposite side of the steel deck from the concrete. The non-load bearing element having openings (25, 26) to allow the services to pass through, in use. The invention also extends to a method of constructing a building in which the cassettes (1) are pre-formed in a factory.

PRE-CAST CONCRETE FLOORING SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF USE
20210189722 · 2021-06-24 ·

Various implementations include a corrugated concrete floor system that includes a plurality of elongated pre-cast concrete floor support units disposed in a horizontal arrangement relative to each other for each floor of a building. The concrete floor support units are disposed between floors of a multi-story building. The units define a plurality of supply air plenums and return air plenums that are arranged alternately in the sandwich space between each floor. The supply air plenums are in fluid communication with the building level above them, and the return air plenums are in fluid communication with the building level below them. By having the supply-air plenum and the return-air plenum share the volume occupied by concrete floor support units, the height of the sandwich space is reduced.

Building construction system with split precast horizontal floor supports
20210180310 · 2021-06-17 ·

The disclosed building construction system with split precast horizontal floor supports combines the strength and ease of construction of pre-cast concrete, with ease of transportation of cast-in-place concrete. The system avoids the requirement of casting difficult shapes by breaking the complex T-shape sections of prior patents into separate flat pieces. The formwork for flat pieces is simpler than that of complex items that include both long and wide components. For examine, T-shapes and cross-shapes are hard to cast and difficult to transport because these shapes do not sit flat, and thus must be supported at their ends. Instead of this complex casting and transport, the slabs are separated into shapes that can later be placed around the columns. This simulates the strength of a fully-precast system, while reducing the precast costs and transportation costs.

Blockout assembly for supporting conduits through concrete panels

A blockout apparatus, for use in creating passageways through prefabricated concrete structural members, has at least one hanger members integrally molded with the blockout apparatus as a dome projecting above the body of the blockout member that can be used to support conduits inserted through the passageway. A wedge nut can be inserted into the hanger members and twisted to lock the wedge nut in place. The wedge nut can be installed before the blockout apparatus is positioned within the concrete form for the manufacture of the prefabricated concrete structural member, or after the concrete structural member has been formed. Typical usage of the blockout apparatus is to create passageways through the T-Beam of Double-T panels so that conduits can pass through the void corresponding to the blockout apparatus. Mounting devices that support the conduits can be engaged with the wedge nut and provide support for one or multiple conduits.

COMPOSITE STRUCTURE INCLUDING A STRUCTURAL PANEL AND A METAL SUPPORT

A composite structure for a building that includes at least one structural panel and at least one metal corrugated panel, where the at least one structural panel is secured to said at least one metal corrugated panel.

Aerated concrete-hybrid construction element
11028571 · 2021-06-08 · ·

An aerated concrete-hybrid construction element comprises a plurality of support structure profiles integrated therein and arranged parallel to one another at a distance from one another. The support structure profiles have a rib running transversely to the plane of the construction element, each with a respective support structure limb angled in the same direction away from the plane of the rib and running parallel or approximately parallel to the adjacent outer surface of the construction element. The support structure limbs of the support structure profiles are cast into an aerated-concrete layer extending over the length of the support structure limbs in their juxtaposed arrangement.

DEMOUNTABLE FLOOR CONSTRUCTION

Demountable Floor Construction A floor plank (10) for use in a flooring system comprises a reinforced, inverted U-shaped, precast concrete element having an upper surface and depending ribs (14) along its longitudinal edges. The planks are supported on spaced horizontal beams (6) during assembly. The planks are interconnected by means of connector plates (52, 54, 56, 58) and bolts (50) along their edges to create a floor diaphragm and surface appropriate for use.
