METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR IDENTIFYING EXTERNAL CONFLICTS WITH A ROOF TRUSS ASSEMBLY
A computer program product comprising: accessing a model of a building, wherein the model is comprised of a plurality of assemblies, wherein the assemblies are comprised of a plurality of members; detecting the assemblies which are identified as roof trusses, wherein the roof truss is identified by the specific members and member internal interfaces and the member properties; analyzing the roof trusses to determine if a roof truss has an external interface with another roof truss; isolating the roof trusses and the plurality of members; and analyzing each of the members of the roof trusses which have external interfaces with other members, wherein the interface is analyzed to determine if the interface is conflicting, wherein a conflicting interface is one where the actual values of the members are inconsistent with a required value.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR IDENTIFYING CONFLICTS WITHIN ROOF TRUSS OF A STRUCTURE
The present invention is a computer implemented method comprising: accessing a model of a building; isolating a set of roof trusses, wherein the roof trusses are comprised of members; analyzing each of the members and determining the actual properties of each of the members; comparing if the actual properties of the members are within a predetermined tolerance of a set of required properties for each of the members; and generating a list of all conflicting members.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR IDENTIFYING CONFLICTS IN A ROOF TRUSS TO ROOF TRUSS HORIZONTAL INTERFACE
The present invention is a method for accessing a model, wherein the model incorporates a plurality of roof truss assemblies, wherein the assemblies are comprised of a plurality of members; detecting at least one interface between at least two roof truss assemblies, and wherein the interface type is detected; recording, by at least one processors, a interface type, wherein a set of required values based on the interface type are identified; calculating a set of actual values associated with the interface; comparing if the set of actual values is within the required values; identifying a modification to at least one roof truss assembly involved in the interface; incorporating the modification into the model; and analyzing the model for newly created interfaces between a set of members of the model.
TRUSS MEMBER CONNECTOR, REINFORCED TRUSS, AND TRUSS REINFORCING METHOD
The present disclosure provides in various embodiments a truss member connector including a first attachment section, a second attachment section, a connection section connecting the first attachment section to the second attachment section, and one or more guide pins. The present disclosure provides in various embodiments a reinforced truss and a method for reinforcing a truss member of a truss with the additional reinforcing member which includes attaching an additional reinforcing member to the truss member with a plurality of truss member connectors to enable rotation of the additional reinforcing member relative to the truss member such that the additional reinforcing member adds support and rigidity to the truss member and the entire truss.
SEALED ENVELOPE AGRICULTURAL BUILDING CONSTRUCTIONS
Agricultural barns, warehouses, and methods for construction including a floor, walls that include foam wall panels, a wainscot of impact resistant panels at a lower portion of the wall, and a ceiling formed from foam roof panels integrated into the roof truss assembly. Once the floor, walls, and ceiling are assembled, walls and ceiling can be coated over with an abrasion resistant, impact resistant polymeric coating (e.g., akin to a truck-bed liner), tying these structures together in a seamless shell that provides sufficient elasticity to accommodate typical expansion/contraction due to daily and seasonal heating/cooling, humidity changes, etc. The sealed interior envelope allows the interior surfaces to easily be pressure washed daily, or whenever else needed. Such construction is particularly well suited to an agricultural barn or warehouse, where cattle or forklifts may run into the lower portion of the walls, and pressure washing may be a daily need.
Stabilized horizontal roof deck assemblies
A horizontal roof deck assembly has a ribbed steel roof deck sufficiently strong to withstand specified gravity, uplift, and shear loads. Rigid substrate boards are positioned adjacent one another above the deck, defining end and side joints. End joints are parallel to and above a corresponding upper rib of the roof deck and are secured to the upper rib by compression disk fasteners spaced along the end joint. The side joints can be tongue and groove joints. Additional fasteners attach the substrate boards to the roof deck along the side joints, for wind uplift resistance, and for thermal movement resistance.
Modular anti-ballistic shelter system
The modular anti-ballistic shelter system includes two end units and, optionally, additional middle units for a wider structure. End and middle units may also stack atop each other for multi-story structures. Each unit is configured to comply with both ISO standards for size and weight, and with the U.S. Department of State Certification Standard for Forced Entry and Ballistic Resistance of Structural Systems. Each exterior wall of each end unit and each middle unit is reinforced with wall studs that penetrate the unit's structural framework of beams and frames. Even though these wall studs are welded into place, penetration of the wall studs into the beams and frames ensures acceptable blast, ballistic, and forced entry resistance even if the welds are flawed.
Advance hybrid roof, advanced cool roof, advanced solar roof, ready roof
The invention can make up the entire roof of a building or vehicle, or be integrated into a portion of said roofs. This invention utilizes and reduces the amount of solar radiation that enters a building or vehicle via the roof. This system can include a water holding tank or a plurality of tanks, heat exchangers, fire sprinkler heads and various glazing options. Said heat exchangers are contained between the rafters or trusses, and takes advantage of thermal syphoning to store energy in said tank or said plurality of tanks. Additionally, this roof system can function as a fire suppression apparatus and a skylight apparatus that allows natural light into the structure, and may be integrated with LED lighting to illuminate the skylight glazing and interior space. The exterior upper covering may consist of a glazing material like tempered glass coupled with additional roofing elements or standard upper covering assemblies.
SOUND-ABSORBING ROOF CONSTRUCTION OF A HALL HAVING REDUCED REVERBERATION TIME
The invention relates to a sound-absorbing roof construction of a hall (01) with walls (02), several roof trusses (03) resting at least at their ends on the walls (02) and with a sound-reflecting roof cladding (06) carried by the roof trusses (03). On the side faces of several of the roof trusses (03) there are absorber strips (04) which are composed of sound absorber elements. A sound-reflecting section of the roof cladding (06) extends between adjacent roof trusses (03) with the absorber strips (04) with a width that is at least twice the average height of the roof trusses (03).
The invention also relates to a sound absorber arrangement with sound absorber elements which are arranged in a hall (01) with walls (02) and a roof structure which closes the hall upwards, the roof structure comprising a plurality of roof trusses (03) and a roof cladding (06) carried by them.
According to the invention, absorber strips (04) are attached to the two side surfaces of several of the roof trusses (03), which are composed of sound absorber elements arranged in a row.
Finally, the invention relates to a hall (01) with reduced reverberation time, which uses the sound absorber arrangement.
