Simple-Frame, Easy-To-Install Equipment Screen System
20210262225 · 2021-08-26 ·

A mechanical equipment screen system that's used to hang a wall, façade, signs or other items. Made up of multiple triangular, metal frames that are easily adjusted to roof pitch and other circumstances onsite by twisting a custom rod mechanism to retract or telescope out the upright element of the frames. These frames consist of a base, angle, and upright element that are bolted together. This assembly is anchored to a structure via a prefabricated plate attached to the legs which can be oriented in a variety of ways to accommodate various installation applications. Round posts on the base can penetrate a roof membrane and allows a very simple and standard roofing detail that complies with the roof's warranty. Other embodiments are described and shown.

REINFORCED CONCRETE MONOCOQUE ROOF CONSTRUCTION METHOD

LIGHT WEIGHT CONSTRUCTION SYSTEM BASED ON HORIZONTALLY PRE-SLOTTED PANELS
20210040722 · 2021-02-11 ·

Modular building methods and systems using lightweight modular panels, and specially configured transition panels for transitioning from wall to floor, or from wall to roof. Identically configured standard panels are used for constructing the walls, floor, and roof, with transitions from one structure to the next (e.g., wall to floor, or wall to roof). Each of the variously configured panel types includes channels (e.g., 2 pair of channels) formed through the length of the foam body, where the channels are configured to receive splines (e.g., flanges of an I-beam) therein. In the standard panel, the channels may include pairs of top and bottom channels, with the channels offset towards the respective panel major faces. In the transition panels, the channels may be similarly configured, but positioned differently to make the appropriate transition. The splines are connected to a frame, which acts as a template and transfers loads to a foundation.

Described is a method and apparatus for constructing light-weight, modular structures using special openC beams as a top and a bottom frame. Each openC beam comprises a vertical web member, a horizontal top flange extending perpendicularly in a first direction from the vertical web member, a horizontal bottom flange extending perpendicularly in the first direction and substantially parallel with the horizontal top flange and a upper vertical tab extending substantially perpendicularly from a distal edge of the horizontal top flange away from the horizontal bottom flange. Vertical posts are installed in one or more cutouts in the horizontal top flange of each openC beam and a planar surface of each of the vertical posts rests against the horizontal top flange for added support.

Supporting structure for a wall or roof partition
10900216 · 2021-01-26 · ·

A supporting structure (102) for a wall or a roof partition (104; 120) of a building structure (100), comprises an internal core structure (114) extending in a longitudinal direction, and first and second external covering profiles (106) for at least partially covering the core structure (114). The covering profiles (106) define inwardly and outwardly facing surfaces (108) facing one another, with slits (116) being formed at the inwardly facing surfaces (108). The core structure comprises at least two bands of material (114) which are mutually offset. The supporting structure (102) is suitable as a post, pillar, column, lath, batten, rafter, truss, girder, bar, or beam for a wall or roof partitions of a greenhouse, a cabin or shanty, a wall of a house, a stand-alone wall or roof partition, such as pent roof, a canopy, a fence, a windbreak or a solar panel structure The bands of material (114) are interconnected at their ends only and are pre-tensioned to provide stiffness, and may be configured to minimize their thermal conductivity.
