Sealing louvers for roof structures
Louvered roof systems are provided with one or more louvers. Such louvers can be combined in an assembly that is movable between an open condition and a closed condition. In the closed condition, louvers in the assembly engage one another. In such engagement, a leg extending generally transversely from one louver may include a wing that extends generally transversely to the leg and that abuts a surface of an adjacent louver. Additionally or alternatively, in such engagement, a leg extending transversely from one louver may be received in a notch in an adjacent louver.
CASCADING ROOF WITH INTERDEPENDENT ROOF PANEL SECTIONS
A system including a plurality of servers mounted in server racks and a cold aisle containment (CAC), the CAC including a roof system, wherein the roof system includes a frame, a plurality of roof panels, wherein each roof panel is connected to the frame and is rotatable with respect to the frame, and a holding mechanism for holding a first roof panel among the plurality of roof panels in a closed position, wherein each roof panel among the plurality of roof panels overlaps at least one adjacent roof panel among the plurality of roof panels, and wherein release of the holding mechanism causes each of the roof panels to rotate to an open position in a cascading manner.
Device for collecting rainwater in a pergola with adjustable slats
Disclosed is a device for collecting rainwater in a pergola including posts, a frame with beams and slats, arranged transversely, parallel to each other, the slats being articulated about a substantially median axis and being capable of assuming a substantially vertical position and a substantially horizontal position, manual or motorised unit ensuring the coordinated movements of the slats. The device includes a movable unit, rigidly connected to the slats L.sub.n, including longitudinal deflectors.
GREENHOUSE
A greenhouse has a roof including a plurality of substantially parallel crossbeams, at least two longitudinal sections which are mounted to the crossbeams and extend at a distance from each other in transverse direction of the crossbeams, a transparent foil which is mounted to the longitudinal sections at respective foil attachment locations thereof so as to form a cover between the longitudinal sections. The roof also includes a displacement mechanism for displacing one of the longitudinal sections with respect to the other between a non-foil-stretching position and a foil-stretching position. The distance between the respective foil attachment locations is larger in the foil-stretching position than in the non-foil-stretching position. The displacement mechanism can be operated and is lockable at an upper side of the roof.
Method for covering a gap between windows at the ridge of a double pitch skylight, a double pitch skylight, and a cover element for use therein
The invention relates to covering a gap between windows at the ridge of a double pitch skylight including at least one pair of windows. Each window comprises a frame with a frame top member and the windows of a pair are interconnected by one or more mounting brackets at the ridge. A cover element is arranged so that it interconnects the two windows of the pair on the interior side and extends in parallel with the ridge length direction. One edge of the cover element is inserted in a groove in the top frame member of one window of the pair and another opposite edge is inserted in a corresponding groove in the other window. The cover element is preferably made from an airtight material, is preferably convex on the interior side in the mounted state, and is preferably provided with elastic connecting parts at the two opposite edges.
SOLAR CARPORTS, SOLAR-TRACKING CARPORTS, AND METHODS
A solar tracking carport comprises a supporting structure including a foundation and at least two columns connected or connectable to the foundation; a three-dimensionally rigid canopy deck having a length from a first edge to a second edge of at least one car, the three-dimensionally rigid canopy deck including one or more upper blocks, each of the upper blocks being rigid at least in its longitudinal direction, each of the upper blocks including at least one solar panel; a deck frame configured to support the one or more upper blocks, the deck frame including a torque transmitting member; a rotation enabling connection configured to rotatably connect at least the torque transmitting member of the three-dimensionally rigid canopy deck to the at least two columns of the supporting structure; and a drive system configured to control tilting of the three-dimensionally rigid canopy deck about the supporting structure over one axis of rotation to a first maximum angle in a first direction and to a second maximum angle in a second direction, the first maximum angle preventing the first edge of the three-dimensionally rigid canopy deck from going below a first minimum threshold height, the second maximum angle preventing the second edge of the three-dimensionally rigid canopy deck from going below a second minimum threshold height.
Louvered pergola
A louvered pergola includes (a) a plurality of horizontally spaced apart posts; (b) an elevated frame supported by the posts and defining a central frame opening; and (c) a plurality of louvers supported by the frame and extended parallel with each other across the frame opening. The plurality of louvers include a static first louver fixed to the frame, a static second louver fixed to the frame opposite the static first louver, and a plurality of pivotable louvers pivotably supported by the frame between the static first and second louvers. The pivotable louvers are pivotable relative to the static first and second louvers between a closed position in which each pair of adjacent louvers of the plurality of louvers interlock to close the frame opening, and an open position in which a gap is provided between each pair of adjacent louvers of the plurality of louvers.
BUILDING STRUCTURE HAVING A ROOF THAT IS CONVERTIBLE BETWEEN OPEN AND CLOSED CONFIGURATIONS
The present disclosure relates to a building structure having a convertible roof with at least one moveable roof section. The moveable roof section can include an integrated overhang. The moveable roof section can also include a roller that rides on a track formed by an angle member. The convertible roof can further have a configuration that reduces rafter visibility.
RETRACTABLE ANGLED ROOF FOR FAST INSTALLATION AND SHIPMENT
A retractable roof construction can be manufactured in a factory and quickly deployed when assembling the house. The retractable roof can be made in parts and assembled into its compact formation whilst in the factory. This compact formation reduces space occupied in shipment, reducing the overall cost. When the compact formation roof is on a construction site, the roof can expand on both sides and be raised in the middle to provide an angle to protect against the rain. The expending process can be automated for reducing labor used in the construction. When compared to traditional roof construction, the retractable roof construction allows fast installation as well as reduced cost, both in shipping and labor.
Louvered patio cover
This disclosure relates to a louvered patio cover. The louvered patio cover may comprise a frame with support beams, louvered panels, support beam couplers, an actuator, a gutter, and/or other components. The support beams may have angled ends. The louvered panels may be rotatably coupled to the support beams. A support beam coupler may comprise first and second receivers. The first receiver may be configured to receive an angled end of a first support beam, and the second receiver may be configured to receive an angled end of a second support beam. The angled ends of the first and second support beams may face, meet, and/or abut each other when received by the first and second receivers. The actuator may be configured to rotate the louvered panels. A gutter may comprise a lighting channel configured to hold a light source for lighting an area under the louvered patio cover.
