MONOLITHIC ACOUSTICAL SYSTEM
A composite structure for improving the acoustical properties of a low NRC membrane including a sound absorbing layer and a porous, scrim covered, perforated drywall layer.
SOUND-ABSORBING DEVICE
In a sound-absorbing device (1) which is suspended from ceilings (3) in rooms (2), comprising a frame (4) which is fastened at a distance from the ceiling (3) and parallel thereto, and at least one flat structure with sound-absorbing properties which is inlaid or inserted into the frame (4),
on the one hand a sound-absorbing property should be present as far as possible over the entire surface of the ceiling (3) and on the other hand sufficient illumination should be possible for the interior of the room. This is solved in accordance with the present invention by at least one intermediate space (11) being provided in the flat structure (5), by one or more lighting means (12) being arranged in the respective intermediate space (11), and by each of the lighting means (12) being locked to the frame (4) directly or by means of support elements (13).
Composite Construction Panels and Applications Thereof
In one aspect, composite construction materials are described herein. In some embodiments, a composite construction panel comprises a substrate layer, a cover layer separated from the substrate layer by one or more spacers, and at least one mat disposed between the substrate layer and the cover layer, wherein the mat comprises at least one phase change material disposed in at least one phase change region.
END CAP FOR CEILING PANEL AND CEILING SYSTEM INCOPORATING THE SAME
Described herein is a ceiling panel assembly comprising a panel body having an inner surface defining an internal cavity having a first open end defined by a first side edge of the panel body, a first end cap comprising a face plate, an insertion portion extending from an inner surface of the face plate, and a concealment portion extending from the inner surface of the face plate; and the first end cap coupled to the panel body so that: (1) the insertion portion extends into the internal cavity; (2) the concealment portion wraps around at least a portion of the first edge and is adjacent an outer surface of the panel body; and (3) the end face plate encloses the first open end of the internal cavity, and the first end cap is coupled to the panel body by frictional fit.
Flush mount baffle for finished ceilings and walls
A baffle assembly for installation on a finished ceiling or wall membrane comprising an elongated base and an elongated panel mountable on the base, the base having fastening areas spaced along its length for receiving fasteners therethrough and anchored on the membrane, the panel having front and rear edges bounding a width of the panel, the panel having a hollow space at the rear edge extending along substantially the full length of the panel, the hollow space being constructed and arranged to receive the base and the base being constructed and arranged upon reception in the hollow to laterally stabilize the panel, the base and panel having interengaged parts concealed in the hollow that maintain the panel on the base.
Module for the production of concrete parts, displacement body, use of a grid for the production of a module and concrete part
A module for the production of concrete parts has a row of displacement bodies that are adjacently arranged in a horizontal longitudinal direction (L) and that are clamped captively to a grid structure made of at least two individual grids running in the longitudinal direction (L). Surfaces of the grids are oriented in a transverse or inclined manner in relation to the horizontal. Each of the grids has at least a first and a second longitudinal bar arranged at a distance in parallel to one another and running in the longitudinal direction (L) and a plurality of transverse bars being arranged at a distance from one another and oriented in a transverse or inclined manner in relation to the horizontal. The transverse bars are respectively connected with the longitudinal bars. One of the displacement bodies for each grid has a first and a second retaining device.
PANEL AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A PANEL
The invention relates to a panel, such as a floor panel, a wall panel or a ceiling panel, in particular a decorative panel and to a method for producing such panel. The panel according to the present invention comprises a core layer comprising a first composite material and a second composite material which have different material characteristics. The panel is further provided with a plurality of cavities.
Longspan stay-in-place liners
A structure-lining apparatus comprising a plurality of transversely and longitudinally extending panels connectable to a structure and connectable edge-to-edge via complementary connector components on their longitudinally extending edges. Each panel comprises transversely extending edges generally orthogonal to their longitudinally extending edges. Each panel comprises first and second complementary connector components on first and second longitudinally extending edges thereof. The apparatus comprises at least one edge-to-edge connection between a first connector component of a first panel and a second connector component of a second panel wherein a primary male connector component of the second connector component of the second panel is extended into a primary female connector component of the first connector component of the first panel and a secondary male connector component of the first connector component of the first panel is extended into a secondary female connector component of the second connector component of the second panel.
Panel with a fastening device
The present disclosure relates to a set comprising a supporting structure, first and second panels and a fastening device for securing the first and second panels to the supporting structure. The fastening device comprises a top portion, having top and bottom surfaces, first and second edge portions, and first and second legs protruding downwardly from the bottom surface. The first and second panels respectively comprise opposite first and second edge grooves into which the first and second edge portions are configured to be respectively inserted. The first and second legs are flexible and bendable towards each other, and respectively comprise first and second locking elements. An upper surface of the supporting structure comprises an insertion groove comprising a first undercut groove and an opposite second undercut groove. The first and second locking elements are respectively configured to be snapped into the first and second undercut grooves to a locked position.
Ceiling system
A ceiling system includes a ceiling support structure supporting a plurality of ceiling panels, each ceiling panel including a core layer having a top surface facing a first interior space above the ceiling panels, a bottom surface facing a second interior space below the ceiling panels, and a plurality of peripheral edges extending between the top and bottom surfaces. A top frame layer extends from the top surface and a thermal layer is on the top frame layer opposite the top surface. The thermal layer has a first surface facing away from the top frame layer and a second surface facing toward the top frame layer. The top frame layer supports the second surface in a spaced-apart manner from the top surface to form one or more air gaps between the top surface and the second surface. The first and second surfaces have a thermal emissivity of 0.5 or less.
