A stretched-web structure for producing a false ceiling or a dropped ceiling box in a room, including two flexible webs arranged parallel to one another and fastened stretched between at least one wall, wherein one of the webs is made of polyvinyl chloride and the other web is made of fabric.

Defect-Hiding Surface Textures

The present disclosure relates generally to a surface structure for construction products, for example, suitable for construction products that cover visible interior surfaces, such as drywall and ceiling panels. The present disclosure relates more particularly to an interior surface construction product including a visible surface covered with a texture including surface features having a height in a range from 20 m to 2500 m. The visible surface has an average rotational derivative that is no greater than 1.2*a respective rotational derivative of a Lambertian surface under the same lighting and viewing conditions. The rotational derivative is the percentage change in radiance from the visible surface in a viewing direction when illuminated in an illumination direction as the surface rotates about an axis that is perpendicular to a plane defined by the viewing direction and the illumination direction.

Canopy system and group suspension system therefore

A ceiling system for use in an interior building environment. In one aspect, the invention may be a ceiling system comprising: a frame comprising a plurality of struts; a plurality of modules, each of the modules comprising a panel and a plurality of hook members coupled to and extending from a top surface of the panel; each of the hook members comprising: an upstanding section; a hook portion at a top end of the upstanding section, the hook portion defining a downwardly-facing open slot; and an attachment flange at a bottom end of the upstanding section that couples the hook member to the top surface of the panel; and the modules mounted to the frame, and wherein for each of the modules, the hook portions of the hook members fit over and rest upon the struts, the struts located in the downwardly-facing open slots of the hook portions.

Ceiling systems

A ceiling system in one embodiment includes an overhead support grid comprised of a plurality of intersecting grid support members and a ceiling tile mountable to the grid. Retaining clips support the ceiling tile from the grid which may be concealed from view. The retaining clips each include a cavity that receives a grid support member and a pair of resilient mounting elements configured to lockingly engage a support member. The mounting elements are laterally movable in response to inserting the support member into the cavity of the retaining clip. In one embodiment, the movable elements include locking tabs which create a snap-fit interlock with the grid support member for securing the ceiling tile to the grid.

Integrated ceiling and light system

An integrated ceiling and light system that incorporates a light module into a ceiling tile. The system may include a grid support system suspended from an overhead support structure that includes at least one grid support element and first and second ceiling tiles supported by the grid support element in an adjacent manner. A nesting cavity may be formed into the first and second ceiling tiles such that a light module may be disposed within the nesting cavity and coupled to the first and second ceiling tiles. The ceiling tiles may be of the type that conceals the grid support element on which it is supported. In one alternative embodiment, the light module and a nesting region of the ceiling tile may include corresponding edge profiles to facilitate mating therebetween to enable coupling of the light source to the ceiling tile.

Acoustical panel frame

An acoustical panel apparatus includes a laminate panel substrate that is receptive to ink printing operations. The substrate may be provided with folding grooves to form an apertured base, a sidewall, and an inner wall which together define a receptacle. An acoustical tuning body is positionable at the receptacle to attenuate at least one of sound transmissions and sound reflections from sound passing through the apertures in the base. A mounting bracket is attached to the panel to secure the acoustical tuning body at the receptacle and for mounting the panel substrate to a wall or ceiling.

THERMALLY ACTIVATED BUILDING PANEL

The thermally activated building panel (1) includes a metal plate (2) having a room-facing surface (3) and a building-facing surface (4). A heat-exchanger tube (5) for conveying a cooling or heating medium is in conductive thermal contact with the building-facing surface (4) of the metal plate (2). A textile (9) is arranged on the room-facing surface (3) of the metal plate (2) and has a first surface (10) generally contacting the metal plate (2) and a second surface (11) generally visible from said room. The textile (9) is tensioned between opposed edges (12) of the metal plate (2). The first surface (10) of the textile (9) is metallized by deposition of metal particles on the textile (9).

A transparent sheet having connection members. The transparent laminate includes an outer sheet, an inner sheet and a central region. The transparent laminate defines a cavity. The monolithic sheet will comprise of at least one cavity and access opening cut into and/or through the monolithic sheet. Connection members are positionable within the cavity of the transparent sheet. A cover may be incorporated into the transparent sheet to form the cavity and or the access opening. Additionally, an obscuring layer may be incorporated to obscure at least portions of the cavity. Interfaces may be coupled to the connection members and secured to the transparent sheet.

ACOUSTIC PANELS AND METHODS FOR PREPARING THEM
20200024844 · 2020-01-23 ·

The disclosure relates to acoustic panels and methods for preparing them. The disclosure relates more particularly to panels having a nonwoven facing and to methods for making such panels.
