T-bar for suspended ceiling with heat dissipation system for LED lighting
The T-bar includes an elongate rigid spine extending between terminal ends including either a fixed anchor or adjustable anchor for attachment to adjacent T-bars or other supports. An upper heat sink is provided on an upper portion of the spine to enhance heat transfer from the T-bar to air surrounding upper portions of the T-bar. A light housing is provided on a lower portion of the T-bar which is configured to support a lighting module therein, such as a light emitting diode (LED) light. A lower heat sink is provided above this light housing and integrated into a rest shelf which supports ceiling tiles adjacent the T-bar. A power supply is provided which can be removably attached to the T-bar and provide appropriately conditioned power for the lighting module.
Splice plate with a cam lock
A splice plate for joining and aligning extruded trim strips used in suspended ceiling islands and fascias. The splice plate has at least one cam lock connected to a base plate by a fastener. The fastener passes through an aperture in the cam lock and an aperture formed by a projection in the base plate that projects a distance from the face of the base plate. To prevent deformation of the trim strips, the cam lock and base plate may each include bend lines forming an obtuse angle wherein the obtuse angle of the cam lock is less than the obtuse angle of the base plate.
Ceiling system
A grid mounting system for a suspended ceiling system in one embodiment includes a support structure and a mounting bracket coupled to the support structure. An elongated first grid member is pivotably coupled to the mounting bracket about a pivot axis defined by a pivot member. The first grid member is movable about the pivot axis in a plurality of angular mounting positions. In one embodiment, the grid mounting system further includes a second grid member which may be pivotably or fixedly coupled to the mounting bracket. The support structure may be a wall or perimeter trim bracket attached to the wall in some installations.
Linear panel
A linear wall or ceiling panel comprising and formed from a woven or non-woven fibrous material. Preferably, the material is thermoformable and non-woven and comprises at least one of the group consisting of: bi-core polyester fibers: two different types of fibers having different melting points; a mixture of bi-core polyester fibers and non-bi-core (single core) polyester fibers. The panel is preferably shaped to provide means for mounting the panel to a carrier. Optionally, an end portion may be provided to cover the open longitudinal end of the linear panel.
MODULAR CEILING ACCESSIBLE ONE BY ONE, HIDDEN GRID, RESTING ON ALL FOUR SIDES, ALLOWING FOR REDUCED THICKNESS AND LARGER FORMATS
The present invention discloses a rectangular ceiling module, accessible one by one, that allows the use of larger-than-standard, reduced-thickness formats, with a front face, a rear face and four edges, with corners forming obtuse angles and robust geometry; it is installed from below without surpassing the height of the standard support grid; it rests on the grid by its four edges or sides and leaves the grid hidden. The module is useful as a standard false ceiling, hiding air-conditioning installations, electrical installations, fire-protection systems, low-current systems, etc., located under the slab, mostly in office buildings, while also serving as an element of insulation and/or sound absorption, depending on the material used.
PARTIALLY LIGHTED T-BAR
The partially lit T-bar includes a spine with a rest shelf at a lower portion thereof. The rest shelf supports adjacent ceiling tiles. The under surface of the rest shelf includes a lighting module on a portion and a plain unlit undersurface on other portions. Additional T-bars which are shorter, and typically fully lit or fully unlit and half the length of the partially lit T-bar are also provided which can attach at ends or near a midpoint of the partially lit T-bar and typically perpendicularly thereto. A great variety of lighting patterns in a dropped ceiling is thus facilitated. Each of the T-bars preferably also includes a heat sink on an upper portion of the spine and also preferably a lower heat sink on an upper portion of the rest shelf. Heat associated with the light element of the T-bar can thus be drawn away from a space below the ceiling.
CEILING GRID STRUCTURAL MEMBER AND CEILING GRID ASSEMBLY
A ceiling grid strut is provided that includes a rail and a strut channel that is integral to the rail. A ceiling grid assembly is provided that includes a first ceiling grid strut, a second ceiling grid strut, a first threaded fastener, a second threaded fastener, and a connector.
Apparatus and system for dynamic acoustic locking ceiling system and methods thereof
A dynamic acoustic locking ceiling baffle and a dynamic acoustic locking ceiling system, that includes a single piece of material folded into acoustic locking ceiling baffles, using locking pieces and locking mechanisms, to quickly and easily install the acoustic locking ceiling baffle onto construction ceiling hangers to provide an aesthetically pleasing image, along with a reduction in unwanted noise or room acoustics.
