A method for assembling a sprinkler support assembly, the method including fitting a saddle of a mounting bracket over a grid support of a ceiling system; fastening an attachment leg of the mounting bracket to a suspension frame of the ceiling system with a fastener, the attachment leg disposed at a first bracket end of the mounting bracket, the saddle disposed at a second mounting bracket end of the mounting bracket opposite from the first bracket end, the grid support extending laterally outward from the suspension frame; and securing a sprinkler drop of a fire sprinkler assembly with a clamp, the clamp attached to the mounting bracket.

A suspended ceiling system (1) comprising a plurality of ceiling tiles and a grid (100) of profiles (40) for supporting the plurality of ceiling tiles, the grid (100) of profiles (40) comprising at least a first and a second profile (40) configured to be interconnected along a longitudinal axis, the first and second profile (40) each comprising two laterally extending flanges (43) and an upstanding web (44) provided with a bulb (41) at its free end, wherein each of the first and second profile (40) has a curved extension and is configured to be installed such that it, in an installed and unloaded condition, bulges in an upward direction.

A sprinkler support assembly includes a ceiling system including a suspension frame and a grid support, the grid support extending laterally outward from the suspension frame; and a bracket assembly including a main body and at least one support arm, the main body attached to the grid support, the at least one support arm extending outward from the main body.

A ceiling beam grid is an open grid constructed from beams of a few standard sizes that are connected together by connection blocks at the intersections of the beams. The connection blocks are suspended from the structural ceiling of the room by means of an anchor and hanger and are spaced in a grid pattern to accommodate the standard size beams between adjacent connection blocks. The standard size beams are then attached to and supported between the connection blocks. The beams are connected to the connection blocks by a vertical tongue and groove connection. The tongue and groove connection provides a sliding connection that allows the beams to be easily connected and disconnected from the connection blocks without the need of tools. Consequently, the ceiling beam grid can be easily reconfigured to accommodate changes in the room below.

A ceiling panel mounting clip is interlocked with a second clip to mount a ceiling panel with the interlocked clips hidden from viewed from below the ceiling panel. The interlocked clips hold the ceiling panel without fasteners holding the clips together. The interlocked clips restrain movement of the ceiling panel in the lateral and downward directions. The ceiling panel mounting clip includes a base having a front end, a rear end, and lateral edges. An arm projects away from the base with the arm having a lower end, an upper end, and lateral edges. The arm defines an opening through one of its lateral edges with the arm having a lower edge, an upper edge, and a central edge that define the boundaries of the opening. A lock tab projects from an upper portion of the arm away from the opening.

A ceiling isolation hanger comprises a bracket configured to be secured to an overhead mounting surface. The bracket comprises vibration dampening material configured to bear against the mounting surface, a clip configured to engage and retain a furring channel beneath the mounting surface, and at least one spring element extending between the bracket and the clip.

The disclosure relates to support members for ceiling systems, such as those that can be formed into an interconnected grid to be suspended from a ceiling and support ceiling tiles. One aspect of the disclosure is a linearly-extending support member for a ceiling tile. The support member has a cross-sectional shape that includes a substantially vertical central web with a top end and a bottom end; at least one flange extending substantially horizontally from the bottom end of the web, the flange having an upper surface and a lower surface; and a bulb extending from the top end of the web, the bulb having a first side and a second side with a cavity therebetween, the bulb having an upper portion and a lower portion adjacent the top end of the web, wherein the entire lower portion of the bulb is narrower than the upper portion of the bulb and wider than the central web, the bulb comprising a series of spaced apertures formed therein through both the first side and the second side of the bulb, each aperture being disposed at least partially in the lower portion of the bulb, each aperture having an upper portion and a lower portion, wherein the upper portion of the aperture is rounded.

A sprinkler support assembly includes a ceiling system including a suspension frame and a grid support, the grid support extending laterally outward from the suspension frame; and a bracket assembly including a main body and at least one support arm, the main body attached to the grid support, the at least one support arm extending outward from the main body.

A method for assembling a sprinkler support assembly, the method including fitting a saddle of a mounting bracket over a grid support of a ceiling system; fastening an attachment leg of the mounting bracket to a suspension frame of the ceiling system with a fastener, the attachment leg disposed at a first bracket end of the mounting bracket, the saddle disposed at a second mounting bracket end of the mounting bracket opposite from the first bracket end, the grid support extending laterally outward from the suspension frame; and securing a sprinkler drop of a fire sprinkler assembly with a clamp, the clamp attached to the mounting bracket.

The present invention relates to a suspended ceiling hanger clip and a suspended ceiling formed using the hanger clip. The suspended ceiling hanger clip has a longitudinally extending base having a first end and a second end and a pair of generally parallel co-extensive flanges extending downwardly from the base. At least one projection in each flange is formed with a ramp surface. An aperture is formed in the base for receiving an upper end of the elongate suspension rod therein. The suspension rod has a longitudinal axis extending along a length between spaced apart upper and lower ends, with the lower end having an attachment means. The upper end of the suspension rod extends through and is fixedly retained from removal from the aperture in the base of the hanger clip.
