Bracket for Mounting a Panel to a Carrier
A bracket for mounting panels to a carrier, the bracket comprising a base and two flanges extending away from the base, the base being located between the two flanges, each flange having an inwardly-facing surface and an outwardly-facing surface bounded by two side edges and a distal end, and wherein each flange comprises at least one outwardly protruding tab for engaging the carrier and thereby securing the bracket to the carrier, and wherein each flange further comprises a pair of slots for receiving a panel, each slot of said pair of slots extending from a different side edge of the flange at a location further away from the base than the outwardly protruding tab. A carrier and bracket assembly and a carrier, bracket and panel assembly are also provided.
STRUT WITH NON-STRUCTURAL INFILL
An elongated structural ceiling grid member including an open-ended upper portion, an open-ended lower portion, and first and second flanges. The open-ended upper section is formed by a floor and a first set of second parallel and spaced sidewalls extending from and substantially perpendicular to the floor. The open-ended upper portion has an opening opposite the floor and defined by the first and second parallel and spaced sidewalls. The open-ended lower portion is formed by a ceiling and a second set of parallel and spaced sidewalls that extend from and are substantially perpendicular to the ceiling. The open-ended lower portion has a second opening opposite the ceiling and defined by the third and fourth parallel and spaced sidewalls. The first flange is attached to and extends perpendicular to the third parallel and spaced sidewall and the second flange is attached to and extends perpendicular to the fourth parallel and spaced sidewall.
Arched island ceiling useful in open plenum
An arched island ceiling system comprising a pair of arcuate frame members, metal panels, and clips for supporting the panels on the frame members, the frame members having a generally rectangular cross-section, the clips having a saddle configuration including a seat and legs depending from opposite sides of the seat and being proportioned to straddle the frame member, lower ends of the legs having feet engageable with the underside of inwardly extending flanges of sides of the metal panels.
Acoustical baffle panel system
An acoustical baffle assembly comprising an elongated rigid upper carrier, a rigid panel supported on the carrier and a plurality of clips attaching the panel on the carrier at a plurality of locations along the length of the carrier, the clips each being clinched on an upper edge of the panel and being engaged with the carrier.
Method and apparatus for suspending a package in an elevated position
One embodiment provides a method and apparatus for suspending air conditioning duct works from a support structure comprising unistrut type support beams which apparatus includes a plurality of support brackets arranged and configured for being slidably interlockable with the interior of the unistrut beam members. The support brackets can be slid inside the interior of the support beam until adjacent a support beam which support beam can be connected to the support bracket. In like manner additional support brackets can be inserted into the interior of the support beam members to be adjustably located next to their respective support rod. In such manner multiple support rods can be used to support a frame member even where the support rods are not symmetrically located along the length of the support beam as the support bracket can be slid/moved inside the support beam until lining up with its respective support rod. Additionally, the entire support framework can be moved relative to the plurality of support rods by sliding the framework relative to the support brackets. In such manner the location of the supporting frame member can be changed without moving the support rods.
Device for supporting acoustical ceilings
Disclosed is a device for supporting acoustical ceilings and other suspended objects. The device includes a clamp that is removably inserted into an outer sleeve. The exterior wall of the clamp includes threaded elements that can mate with threaded elements disposed on the interior wall of the outer sleeve so that the clamp can twist in and out of the outer sleeve in a screw-like manner. The clamp includes a cavity for securing a ceiling wire therein, wherein the ceiling wire can be attached to an overhead ceiling structure. The outer sleeve is removably secured to a ceiling grid. In use, the clamp can be repositioned within the outer sleeve to adjust the height of the ceiling grid. In this way, the present invention can be used in construction and commercial applications in a convenient manner, thereby simplifying the process of providing support for acoustic ceilings.

LED LIGHTING SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF INSTALLATION
A lighting system for a grid ceiling that includes a plurality of T-bar sections interconnected at an intersection region of the grid ceiling, and includes a lighting module and a connection module. The lighting module and connection module are constructed and arranged to be disposed proximate a first T-bar section of the plurality of T-bar sections and the intersection region of the grid ceiling, respectively. The lighting module has a first end and a second end and includes at least one low voltage light source electrically connected to a conductive surface of a substrate and a connector disposed on the conductive surface of the substrate proximate the first end. The connection module includes a substrate and a connector disposed on a conductive surface of the substrate, and is configured to electrically and mechanically couple to the second end of the lighting module to transfer power to or from the lighting module.
A Suspended Ceiling Clip
The present invention relates in general to a suspended ceiling clip and method of using the clip to support a grid-work of channels in a key lock concealed grid suspended ceiling system. The suspended ceiling clip is used for mounting a furring channel to a top cross rail. The clip comprising a longitudinally extending base; a pair of flanges extending downwardly from the base and between which the base is located; a pair of hooks on each flange, each pair of hooks adapted to releasably connect to the furring channel; at least one projection in each flange, each projection engaging with a surface on the top cross rail to secure the clip within a longitudinal slot of the top cross rail; and wherein the air of flanges extend a preOdetermined distance from the base so as to space apart the top cross rail and the furring channel to provide a void therebetween.
Acoustic Leveling Clip
An acoustic leveling clip includes an insert formed from a flexible, acoustically insulating material. The insert includes a flanged end and cylindrical body having male threads. The leveling clip further includes a mounting clip that has an aperture and female threads. The cylindrical body of the insert is configured to extend through the aperture. In this manner, the mounting clip is movable along the cylindrical body of the insert by way of the male threads and the female threads.
