A PLANAR SUSPENDED CEILING SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR INSTALLING THE CEILING SYSTEM

The inventive concept relates to a planar suspended ceiling system comprising: a ceiling tile (10) having a front side (1), a rear side (2) and at least one side edge extending between the front side (1) and the rear side (2), the ceiling tile (10) comprising an acoustical absorbing body (4), and a front cover (3) arranged at the front side (1) of the ceiling tile (10); wherein a slit (5) is provided extending across the entire rear side (2) of the acoustical absorbing body (4) thereby dividing said acoustical absorbing body (4) into a first and a second body section (4a, 4b), and having a depth such that the ceiling tile (10) is foldable along the slit (5) with the front cover (3) acting as a joint; wherein opposing portions of the at least one side edge are provided with each a groove (6) and; a grid of profiles (11) for supporting said ceiling tile (10) in a planar, non-folded state in which flanges (7) of the grid of profiles (11) extend into the grooves (6) thereby supporting the ceiling tile (10).

MULTIFUNCTIONAL WATER-BORNE HIGH SOLIDS TILE PAINT

Described herein is a coated building panel that comprises a side surface that is textured and exhibits a white and/or color. The building panel comprising an upper surface opposite a lower surface and a side surface extending between the upper surface and the lower surface, a coating applied to the side surface, the coating comprising an inorganic particle having a disk shape and an ionic dispersant comprising an ionic group that are present on a repeating unit and the ionic dispersant comprising at least two of the repeating units.

BUILDING PANEL COATINGS

Described herein are panel coating compositions, building panel and a ceiling panel assembly having such coating compositions. The coating compositions are useful in obtaining stable and splotch-free finished paint on large panels.

The present disclosure relates generally to ceiling panel carriers, for example, suitable for forming a ceiling surface by supporting a plurality of ceiling panels. The present disclosure relates more particularly to a carrier configured to mount ceiling panels at varying heights. The carrier includes an elongate support structure extending in a longitudinal direction and a plurality of attachment projections positioned along the length of the carrier. Each of the attachment projections extends down from the support structure and is configured to hold a ceiling panel. The attachment projections include a first group with a body and an upper hanger that has a first upper flange extending from the body in the longitudinal direction. The attachment projections also include a second group with a body and a lower hanger that has a first lower flange extending from the body in the longitudinal direction.

MODULAR CEILING ACCESSIBLE ONE BY ONE, HIDDEN GRID, RESTING ON ALL FOUR SIDES, ALLOWING FOR REDUCED THICKNESS AND LARGER FORMATS
20220010555 · 2022-01-13 ·

The present invention discloses a rectangular ceiling module, accessible one by one, that allows the use of larger-than-standard, reduced-thickness formats, with a front face, a rear face and four edges, with corners forming obtuse angles and robust geometry; it is installed from below without surpassing the height of the standard support grid; it rests on the grid by its four edges or sides and leaves the grid hidden. The module is useful as a standard false ceiling, hiding air-conditioning installations, electrical installations, fire-protection systems, low-current systems, etc., located under the slab, mostly in office buildings, while also serving as an element of insulation and/or sound absorption, depending on the material used.

The partially lit T-bar includes a spine with a rest shelf at a lower portion thereof. The rest shelf supports adjacent ceiling tiles. The under surface of the rest shelf includes a lighting module on a portion and a plain unlit undersurface on other portions. Additional T-bars which are shorter, and typically fully lit or fully unlit and half the length of the partially lit T-bar are also provided which can attach at ends or near a midpoint of the partially lit T-bar and typically perpendicularly thereto. A great variety of lighting patterns in a dropped ceiling is thus facilitated. Each of the T-bars preferably also includes a heat sink on an upper portion of the spine and also preferably a lower heat sink on an upper portion of the rest shelf. Heat associated with the light element of the T-bar can thus be drawn away from a space below the ceiling.
