Ceiling system and method of installation
A ceiling system is provided for use in a building space. The ceiling system has an open cell grid structure and is attached to a support structure of the building via hanging hardware. The open cell grid structure is constructed of a plurality of bottom panels attached to the hanging hardware, a plurality of middle panels attached to the plurality of bottom panels, and a plurality of top panels attached to the plurality of middle panels. The bottom, middle, and top panels are arranged in a plurality of rows and arranged to ensure that the plurality of panels form an interconnected system capable of being extended to any size desired by a user.
MOUNTING CLAMP FOR SUPPORT ASSEMBLY
A support assembly supports a hub coupled to a crossbar. The hub adjustably supports a sprinkler, e.g., in a ceiling. Clamp assemblies are arranged and clamped on opposite sides of the crossbar to couple the support assembly to span two parallel T-bars of the ceiling. The clamp assembly comprises a carriage, a clamp, and a saddle. The carriage defines a tab comprising a first aperture and a back panel defining a second aperture adapted to support the crossbar, the hub, and the sprinkler. A lateral section of the carriage extends between the tab and the back panel. The lateral section comprises a pivoting slot and a bent end. The clamp comprises projections, a void, and a bent clasp. The saddle comprises a stem interposed between first and second flanges with orifices adapted to support the crossbar and align with the apertures in the carriage.
Architectural structures having an expandable frame
An architectural structure for constructing a variety of goods in a variety of configurations is provided. The architectural structure includes a plurality of paired slat-like members and a spine configured to hold the plurality of paired slat-like members in an expanded state. Each paired slat-like members includes joined upper ends, joined lower ends and an expandable central region joined to an adjacent paired slat-like members.
COLLAPSIBLE ACOUSTIC HONEYCOMB CEILING INSTALLATION
A collapsible acoustic honeycomb ceiling installation can be made by cutting desired material into panels. Next, a manufacturer can cut one or more notches into the panels. The manufacturer can assemble the collapsible acoustic honeycomb ceiling installation by aligning the one or more notches on the panels and slideably connecting the panels. The resultant collapsible acoustic honeycomb ceiling installation can provide a versatile decorative feature to a space while maintaining or altering the acoustics of the space as desired. Further, because the ceiling installation is collapsible, a manufacturer or installer can easily transport, install, and removed the ceiling installation.
SUPPORT SYSTEM AND SYSTEM OF CONNECTION ELEMENTS FOR CONNECTING SUPPORTS
A support system includes supports and connection elements for interconnecting the supports. The supports are interconnected by plug connections. The interacting plug connection components that form the plug connection include at least one plug element and at least one plug receptacle. Each connection element is established on a support and has at least one plug connection component. The support system has first connection elements, the at least one plug connection component of which is disposed on a longitudinal side of the assigned support. The support system has second connection elements, the at least one plug connection component of which are disposed on an end side of the assigned support, and the second connection elements are selectively connectable to a first connection element or to a further second connection element. A system of connection elements includes first connection elements as well as second connection elements.
CEILING SYSTEM, METHOD OF FORMING A CEILING SYSTEM, AND/OR COVER FOR USE IN A CEILING SYSTEM
A ceiling system, a method of forming a ceiling system, and a cover for use therein. The cover may include an elongated cover body. The elongated cover body may have a floor portion and first and second sidewall portions extending upward from the floor portion. The cover may have a cover slot in a top surface of the elongated cover body that extends downward into the elongated cover body between the first and second sidewall portions. The cover slot may have a narrowed section and a widened section below the narrowed section. A plurality of transverse cover notches may be arranged in a spaced apart manner along the elongated cover body. Each of the plurality of transverse cover notches may be formed in a bottom portion of the elongated cover body and may intersect the widened section and at least a portion of the narrowed section of the cover slot.
CEILING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF INSTALLATION

Ceiling grid support bar, and ceiling system
The present disclosure relates generally to ceiling grids, for example, suitable for forming a suspended ceiling. The present disclosure relates more particularly to a support bar configured to extend across grid beams of a ceiling grid. The support bar includes a first hook configured to secure to a first grid beam of the ceiling grid and a second hook configured to secure to a second grid beam of the ceiling grid. A spanning member extends from the first hook to the second hook and is configured to support the weight of an element attached to the support bar.
Light-emitting acoustic panel and lighting system comprising a set of such panels
The invention relates to a set (1) of panels forming a lighting system, the set comprising a light-emitting panel (2) and a light-reflecting panel (3), each panel having two opposing first sides (4), two opposing second sides (5) and two opposing main surfaces (6). Each panel is suspended from a ceiling (7) with a first side (4) thereof facing the ceiling. The light-emitting panel (2) comprises a light source (11) arranged on a second side (5) thereof. The second side (5) of the light-emitting panel (2) faces a main surface (6) of the light-reflecting panel (3) such that the light source (11) is arranged to illuminate the main surface (6) of the light-reflecting panel (3). The invention also relates to a lighting system including such set of panels and an acoustic panel as such.
