A construction board includes a foam body having first and second planar surfaces, said foam body including a polyisocyanurate foam matrix defining a plurality of closed cells, said closed cells being at least substantially devoid of hydrocarbon blowing agents, and said foam body being characterized by a density, pursuant to ASTM C303, of at least 2.5 lbs/ft.sup.3; and a facer disposed on a planar surface of said foam body, said facer including a glass substrate having an internal planar surface proximate to said foam body and an external planar surface opposite said foam body, a first coating disposed on said external surface, and a second coating disposed on or proximate to said internal surface, where said first coating disposed on said external surface includes an inert filler, and where said second coating disposed on or proximate to said internal surface includes intumescent material.

Described herein is a flame-retardant building panel comprising a body having a first major surface opposite a second major surface, an inorganic coating atop the first major surface, the inorganic coating being optically transparent and flame retardant and comprising a silicate compound; and wherein the inorganic flame retardant coating is substantially transparent such that the first major surface of the body is visible through the inorganic coating.

Modular Wall Panels and System
Modular wall panels having a frame of a plurality of frame components and at least one wall sheet affixed to the frame. The frame components may have angled ends, straight ends, or a combination thereof to collectively form a frame which may include corners. Each frame component includes an outer surface with at least one aperture configured to receive and retain an insert therein. The apertures are also configured to permit a cable(s) to pass therethrough for running cables and such through the interior of the wall panel. Connectors and spacers may be inserted into the apertures as inserts and bridge between adjacent panels to selectively connect the panels. Caps may be placed in empty apertures to cover the openings for aesthetic purposes. A wall system includes a plurality of such wall panels connected to one another along the outer surfaces of the frame components of their respective frames.
BUILDING PANEL WITH SECTIONS
A building panel with a high degree of isotropy with regard to the load bearing capacity and flexural strength. The building panel includes a first section and a second section, each section including at least one layer, each of the at least one layer having fibers, whereby the fibers are distributed substantially homogeneously throughout each layer, substantially parallel to the main surfaces of the panel and oriented predominantly in the same direction and the sections are firmly joined in transverse direction, and the first section is thinner than the second section.
Modular wall panels and system
Modular wall panels having a frame of a plurality of frame components and at least one wall sheet affixed to the frame. Each frame component includes an outer surface with at least one aperture configured to receive and retain an insert therein. The apertures are also configured to permit a cable(s) to pass therethrough for running cables and such through the interior of the wall panel. A wall system includes a plurality of such wall panels connected to one another along the outer surfaces of the frame components of their respective frames. Insulated Wall Panels & Turcotte Sculptor
Insulated, load bearing wall panels are machined from a raw foam slab of foam material. The raw foam slab is loaded into a Turcotte sculptor. The Turcotte sculptor is an elegant 36-axis machine that machines the raw foam slab into one or more insulated foam wall panels. The Turcotte sculptor, in particular, may accept very large 18x4x2 feet slabs of foam material. The Turcotte sculptor then individually commands and actuates any of 36 linear actuators to produce the one or more insulated foam wall panels. The Turcotte sculptor, within minutes, simultaneously machines the raw 18x4x2 foam slab into two (2) 9-feet tall wall panels for 9-feet ceilings. The Turcotte sculptor may easily machine other wall sizes. The Turcotte sculptor thus efficiently and quickly volume produces entire one-piece, single-height insulated wall panels at reduced cost and with outstanding energy performance.

MESH SEAM CONNECTION ELEMENT
Aa mesh tape bonded to the outer edge or outward side of sheet panel products. The mesh tape is applied so that the tape overhangs the edge of the panel for the purpose of adjoining to the adjacent panel following installation of the panels at a job site. The mesh may be applied to two edges of the sheet panel, one along the panel width and another along the panel length. When installed, the panel edge with the mesh tape applied is overlapped with the edge of an adjacent panel that does not have tape applied, both along the length and width, thus allowing for a faster, more robust and reliable installation of panel sheathing.
