SUPPLEMENTAL SUPPORT STRUCTURE FOR HOT AISLE/COLD AISLE FORMING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF PROVIDING SUPPLEMENTAL SUPPORT FOR HOT AISLE/COLD AISLE FORMING APPARATUS

Supplemental support structure for a hot aisle/cold aisle forming apparatus having vertical supports and a grid of parallel and perpendicular rows of elongated grid members attached to and supported by the vertical supports is disclosed. The supplemental support structure may include vertical support caps attached to the hot aisle/cold aisle forming apparatus above the vertical supports and the grid of parallel and perpendicular rows of elongated grid members and a grid of elongated cross supports. Each of the elongated cross supports may be connected to and supported by at least two of the vertical support caps at an angle of other than 0, 90, 180, and 270 with the parallel and perpendicular rows of elongated grid members.

Curved brace

A curved brace is described herein. In some embodiments, the curved brace includes a base plate that has a proximal segment with one or more fastener apertures that is configured to confront a vertical post, a distal segment located distal to the proximal segment that includes one or more fastener apertures that is configured to confront a lateral beam and a curved middle segment located between the proximal and distal segments. A support plate with a curved base as well as a curved free edge may be attached to the base plate. The curved middle segment of the base plate may have an apex facing the apex angle formed at the connection of the lateral beam to the support beam. Methods of using and manufacturing the curved brace are also described.

Profiled section element with stepped sidewall

An elongate profiled section element for a mounting system includes a bottom, a top side opposite the bottom, and sidewalls extending from the bottom to the top side. The top side includes two flanges which extend from the side walls and delimit between them a longitudinal slot. The top side has a smaller width than the bottom. At least one of the side walls is a stepped sidewall having a stepped shape seen in cross section. The stepped sidewall has two wall sections facing the opposite sidewall and an intermediate wall section substantially parallel to the bottom. The intermediate wall section is provided with a row of holes and the bottom is provided with a row of holes aligned therewith, said holes being adapted to cooperate with a self tapping screw.

The present invention relates to using interlocking spacer braces between support members to construct wood and metal framed walls, floors and building trusses. Spacer braces have indentations, extensions, fingers that interlock horizontally, vertically or diagonally between support members. The spacer braces can form diagonal and lateral wall bracing, diagonal and vertical chords within building truss with either horizontally or vertical orientations, beams, hold-downs and shear walls. The spacer braces can be installed between wood or metal framing members.

JOIST TIE USED IN STRUCTURAL DECKING SYSTEMS AND METHOD OF INSTALLING

A joist tie may be designed to increase the strength of the joist tie and reduce the thickness of the joist tie, in order to provide the desired strength and the ability to make connections that operatively couple structural decking, the joist tie, and joists together using a single connector in one or more locations. The joist tie may be strengthened through the use of one or more ribs and/or one or more flanges. The one or more ribs may be formed to fit within one or more cavities within adjacent joists located in series. As such, the shape of the joist tie may be dimensioned in order to allow the joist tie to be placed on a first joist and a second joist without having to be attached until after assembly of the structural decking on top of the joist tie and joists.
