Blast, ballistic and forced entry resistant shelter
The present anti-ballistic shelter is a reinforced unit configured to comply with both ISO standards for size and weight, and with the U.S. Department of State Certification Standard for Forced Entry and Ballistic Resistance of Structural Systems. Each end and side wall of the unit is reinforced with wall studs that penetrate the unit's structural framework. Even though these wail studs are welded into place, penetration of the wall studs into the framework ensures acceptable blast, ballistic, and forced entry resistance even if the welds are flawed.
Modular framing structure design and a method of using the same
A modular structure system of detachable members, the system includes a support pillar and various connectors. The support pillar has a main body and a plurality of channel walls outwardly radiating from an outside surface of the main body. The channel walls are disposed lengthwise on the main body from one terminal end of the main body to another terminal end of the main body. The support pillar has a symmetrical cross-sectional shape and each of the channel walls has an expanded distal end forming two lips.

Steel reinforced concrete column
A steel reinforced concrete column for a high rise building comprises a plurality of hot-rolled steel sections extending longitudinally through the concrete column. Each of these steel sections has an outward flange with an outer surface turned outwards in the concrete column, an opposite inward flange with an outer surface turned inwards in the concrete column, and a web connecting the outward flange to the inward flange. The steel sections are arranged in the concrete column so that the outer surfaces of their inward flanges at least partially delimit therein a central concrete core with n lateral sides and a transversal cross-section that forms an n-sided polygon, n being at least equal to three, and each of then lateral sides of the central concrete core being coplanar with the outer surface of the inward flange of at least one steel section.

FREESTANDING ENCLOSED OFFICE WITH WALL SUPPORT STRUCTURE
A system for creating an enclosed room, such as an office, in an open space that has a floor and a ceiling. The system includes a support frame that is self-supported on the floor of the open space. The support frame includes a series of head rails supported by a series of vertical columns resting on the floor. The vertical columns support a series of wall panels and the head rails support a ceiling such that the ceiling is supported by the support frame independent of the wall panels. The ceiling of the enclosed room is created by a series of ceiling panels and at least one air intake panel and at least one air exhaust panel. The air exhaust panel includes an exhaust fan that removes air from within the enclosed room and draws fresh air into the enclosed room. The ceiling can include a plurality of adjustable louvers and lighting.

FIRE-RATED WALL AND CEILING SYSTEM
The present application is directed toward fire-rated wall construction components and wall systems for use in building construction. Embodiments can include tracks for holding studs which incorporate various geometries capable of receiving fire-retardant material, flat straps for use between tracks and fluted wall components, fire sponges for use in fluted wall components, and tracks with protruding grooves or other structures which prevent unwanted air movement between a wallboard component and the track.

DROP-IN CEILING WALL SYSTEM
A system and method for building a solid wall with a drop-in ceiling includes a floor track to be secured on a base floor. A support structure of studs is to be secured to the floor track. Cornice rails are to be placed on top of the studs. Splice plates are to connect ends of the cornice rails together. A top cladding is to be installed to at least a portion of the studs at a fixed distance below the top of the studs. The top cladding is to be installed prior to the cornice rails being secured to the top of the studs. Ceiling mounts are to be installed on top of the cladding in a manner that provides equal spacing reveals between the ceiling mounts and the cladding. Splice plates are to connect ends of the ceiling mounts together. A secondary cladding is to be installed to the studs. To complete the wall system, a drop-in ceiling is secured on top of the ceiling mounts.
