A composite structural material formed from aggregate within a matrix, the aggregate being a particulate material where each particle includes at least three radial legs extending outwardly from a central hub.

Concrete corner structure with diagonally oriented fiber resin polymer rebar
11313126 · 2022-04-26 · ·

A concrete corner structure with diagonally oriented fiber resin polymer rebar and method that utilizes straight rebar to reinforce the corner structure. The straight rebar intersects with the horizontally disposed rebar in the first and second walls that form the corner structure. The straight rebar is placed at a 45-degree angle with respect to the two walls and tied to the horizontally disposed rebar. This allows for the use of straight rebar to reinforce the corner structure as opposed to a curved rebar.

CONTINUOUS COMPOSITE STRUCTURAL REINFORCING DEVICE & SYSTEM

A pre-fabricated composite reinforcement device for installation on a structure, comprising a metal reinforcement layer; a fiber reinforced polymer layer; an adhesive layer configured between the metal and fiber reinforced polymer layer; and a plurality of power-actuated fasteners configured for securing the metal reinforcement, fiber reinforced polymer, and adhesive layer to the structure; and wherein a first side of the metal reinforcement layer is for positioning upon the structure for installation of the fasteners with the first side facing away from the structure, and a second side is configured with the adhesive and fiber reinforced layer across a surface area of the second side of the metal reinforcement layer.

HIGH-PERFORMANCE TEXTURED COATING

A coated article is described, including a substrate with a coating composition applied thereon to provide a coated article with a textured surface. In one aspect, the coated article is a steel rebar used to reinforce concrete. The textured surface provides optimal surface roughness and demonstrates superior pullout strength relative to an uncoated standard.

Prestressed concrete for non-primary structural members

To provide a prestressed concrete which can be used for non-primary structural members such as general building members by using a chemical stress induced by an expansive material and a mechanical stress induced by a rust-resistant wire together and achieving reduction in weight and suppression of cracking. A prestressed concrete for non-primary structural members is characterized in that a mechanical stress induced by a tensional material and a chemical stress induced by an expansive material for a concrete are introduced and that the tensional material is a rust-resistant continuous fiber reinforcing wire.

A concrete corner structure with diagonally oriented fiber resin polymer rebar and method that utilizes straight rebar to reinforce the corner structure. The straight rebar i intersects with the horizontally disposed rebar in the first and second walls that form the corner structure. The straight rebar is placed at a 45-degree angle with respect to the two walls and tied to the horizontally disposed rebar. This allows for the use of straight rebar to reinforce the corner structure as opposed to a curved rebar.

MESH MADE OF A COMPOSITE MATERIAL
20230332407 · 2023-10-19 ·

A mesh (12) is made of a composite material having fibers. The fibers are mutually arranged to form a weft (14) and a warp (16). The weft (14) includes at least one weft yarn (142) which has at least one fiber. The warp (16) includes at least one warp yarn (162) which has at least one fiber. In the mesh made of a composite material (12), the weft (14) and the warp (16) are mutually connected at intersection points (18) by interlacing (20).

CONCRETE REINFORCEMENT MEMBER

A reinforcement member suitable for being used to reinforce concrete comprises synthetic fiber with the ratio of its length to equivalent diameter being in range of 30 to 300—and having embossments which extend from its outer surface to outside on the outer surface such that they will form protrusions and have depth in range of 0.10 mm to 0.35 mm. The reinforcement member is in a range of 0.9 kg to 27.3 kg in 1 m.sup.3 of concrete. The synthetic fibers are manufactured from polypropylene.

Reinforcement for cement- and steel-based structures
11773594 · 2023-10-03 ·

This application discloses a new way of stabilizing concrete and cement-based materials and steel. The stabilization is carried out by reinforcement with the help of fiber-stabilized stone bars or stone slabs. The stone can be a natural stone or an artificial stone, the temperature expansion coefficient of which lies between that of the materials to be joined, that is, between the coefficient of the respective fiber and that of the respective cement-based building material, such as concrete or steel.
