Concrete slab attachment device and method
An attachment device attaches adjacent first and second concrete pieces to one another along corresponding first and second interfacing side surfaces thereof, thereby forming a concrete piece attachment arrangement. The device includes an elongate base member having opposed first and second portions, and first and second lateral members securing to and respectively extending substantially perpendicularly from first and second ends of the base member. The first and second portions of the base member extend within first and second recesses respectively formed into the concrete pieces, in a direction generally perpendicular to the first and second interfacing side surfaces. The first and second lateral member respectively extend through bore holes extending through the first and second concrete pieces and connecting with the respective first and second recesses. A method for attaching the concrete pieces to one another with an attachment piece is also described.
Pre-tensioned centrifugal concrete structure with steel strands
A pre-tensioned centrifugal concrete pillar includes a concrete body, a steel cage including a plurality of pre-stressed rebars, a plurality of stirrups; and two plates, the rebars are steel strands, a plurality of conical through holes are provided on the plate, and multiple clips are disposed inside each conical through hole, each clip having a toothed inner surface, the multiple clips are spliced together to form a chock assembly for clamping each steel strand, and a peripheral surface of the chock assembly has a conical surface; a clamping hole is formed in the center of the chock assembly, the steel strand passes through a clamping hole and is clamped tightly. A method for manufacturing a pre-tensioned centrifugal concrete pillar is also included.
Anchoring assembly for anchoring a liner of a cured lining material, a ferrule suitable for use with the anchoring assembly, an anchoring mounting assembly further comprising a ferrule holder and the use of the anchoring assembly
An anchoring assembly for anchoring a liner of a cured lining material arranged to be applied in liquid form to a metal object provided with the anchoring assembly, the anchoring assembly including an elongated mounting pin and a ferrule provided at a first end thereof, wherein the pin is arranged to be mounted at the first end to the metal object, the anchoring assembly further including a plurality of spaced anchor fins connected to the pin at a second end and extending radially outward relative to the pin, wherein the ferrule includes a radially outwardly extending place holder part arranged to be held by a ferrule holder during mounting of the pin at the first end to the metal object.
STRUCTURAL ELEMENT WITH ANTICIPATED PRESTRESSING
The invention provides a prefabricated structural element including an elongate body (11) and at least one first tensioner (1) that is fastened in the elongate body in such a manner that it compresses the elongate body. The structural element includes at least one second tensioner (2) that is fastened to the elongate body at two distinct points by two fastener element so that it compresses the elongate body, at least one of the fastener element being removable so as to make it possible to relax the compression exerted on the elongate body by the second tensioner.

Structural connector for fastening structural components in insulated concrete formwork
The present invention relates to a device and a method associated with the device. With respect to the device, it is a structural connector for fastening structural components in insulated concrete formwork (ICF). The structural connector consists of a double threaded cylinder bolt assembly that aligns through openings in the ICF wall. One end of the cylinder bolt assembly embeds into the cavity of the ICF wall where openings in the cylinder bolt assembly receive concrete and reinforcement bars. The other end of the cylinder bolt assembly is threaded to receive a double threaded washer head bolt. The cylinder bolt assembly is used to mount ledger boards, floor joist hangers and roof truss connectors to the ICF wall, locking them together acting as one unit in withstanding bending and uplift loads imposed by large forces such as floor and roof truss systems.
