Lost Formwork Cladding To Reinforcement Connector And Method Of Using Same
A connector for securing reinforcing rod elements to an adjacent spaced formwork panel, the connector including: a compression resistant spacer element having a first end and a second end defining a depth there between; one or more securing flanges extending from said first end for securing the connector to a formwork panel, and reinforcing rod retention means extending from said second end.
Slab bolster upper and method of using the same
The present disclosure relates to a slab bolster upper for supporting rebars in a reinforced concrete structure. The slab bolster upper comprises an elongated base defining a lower surface, an upper surface for supporting the rebars, a first edge and a second edge opposite the first edge, voids formed through the elongated base to facilitate free flow of concrete therethrough and around the elongated base, a first connexion integrally formed about the first edge of the elongated base and a second connexion integrally formed about the second edge of the elongated base. The first and second connexions are configured to securely engage with corresponding first and second connexions of adjacent slab bolster uppers for interconnecting a plurality of slab bolster uppers together.
SUPPORT FOR EMBEDDING OBJECT IN CONCRETE
A system for supporting and holding in place an object (for example and not by way of limitation, anchor bolts, steel plates and the like) to be embedded in concrete. A device having a shaft and a tower can be used to support the object, by inserting the shaft into an opening in the tower and rotatably locking the shaft in place at the desired height, an embed can be supported in the desired position. Concrete can be poured around the support to embed the object at the desired position within the concrete.
Clip
In summary, the invention provides a clip for use in the construction of a reinforced concrete panel, the panel being reinforced by a mesh comprising a plurality of parallel line wires and a plurality of parallel cross-wires connected to the line wires, the clip comprising: a base configured to engage a side wall that, in use, defines a formwork of the panel; and a body extending from the base, the body being configured to retain a line wire or a cross-wire of the mesh in an operative position of the mesh.
Method and apparatus for panels having an embedment bracket
A panel of a structure is provided that includes a first layer of material, a second layer of material, a filler material between the first layer of material and the second layer of material, and a bracket connected to the first layer of material. The bracket has a bottom flange spaced from the first layer of material. The filler material is between the first layer of material and the bottom flange securing the first layer of material to the filler material to function as an anchor and to provide embedment strength.
Apparatus to install vertical rebar in footings
An apparatus or assembly for use in a construction environment comprises an angled stabilization bracket and at least one clip removably mounted to the stabilization bracket. The angled stabilization bracket comprises a top portion having a first longitudinal edge and a second longitudinal edge opposing the first longitudinal edge, and a first side portion angularly extending from the first longitudinal edge; and a clip-receiving slot defined in the first side portion of the angled stabilization bracket. The at least one clip is slidably and removably disposed in the clip-receiving slot. The at least one clip further comprising at least one rebar-receivable and rebar-guiding passageway. The at least one clip is configured to receive and retain at least one rebar. The angled stabilization bracket is configured for attachment to a structure. The assembly is configured for use to ensure accurate placement or registration of vertical rebar in a construction environment.
Floor deck structure and composite floor deck
A floor deck structure (1) including a profiled metallic sheet (2) including at least a first, a second and a third upper portion (7) separated by a first and a second longitudinal groove (3) comprising a base (5), a first lateral wall (13) linking the base (5) to one of the upper portions and a second lateral wall (14) linking the base (5) to an adjacent upper portion (7); a first and a second rebar truss (10) each extending longitudinally in and/or above, respectively, the first and second longitudinal groove (3) and a plurality of connectors (9a) fastening the first and the second rebar trusses (10) to the profiled metallic sheet (2).
Self-annealing concrete, self-annealing concrete forms, and temperature monitoring system for self-annealing concrete forms
The invention comprises a product. The product comprises a first removable concrete form having a concrete forming face and a first insulating panel insert having a first primary surface and an opposite second primary surface, wherein the second primary surface of the first insulating panel insert contacts the concrete forming face of the first removable concrete form. The product also comprises an elongate anchor member having an enlarged portion and an elongate portion, the elongate portion having a first end and an opposite second end, wherein the enlarged portion is disposed adjacent the first end and contacts the second primary surface of the first insulating panel insert and wherein the elongate portion extends through the first insulating panel insert and extends outwardly from the first primary surface of the first insulating panel insert. A method of using a removable insulated concrete form system is also disclosed.
MASONRY BLOCK WITH LEVELING PADS
A masonry block includes a top surface and an opposing bottom surface, a front surface and an opposing rear surface, a first side surface and an opposing second side surface, an x-direction defined as extending parallel to the rear and bottom surfaces between the first and second side surfaces, and a y-direction defined as extending perpendicular to the x-direction between the front and rear surfaces, and a set of three leveling pads disposed on the rear surface. The set of three leveling pads being positioned on the rear surface such that the three leveling pads provide four regions of overlap with leveling pads of two similar blocks in both block courses above and below the given block when the blocks are arranged in a running bond pattern, such that the four regions of overlap form four load transfer lines through each block in the wall.
Concrete formwork steel stud and system
A formwork stud system includes a plurality of studs, a top channel, a bottom channel and a plurality of horizontal and vertical rebars. At least one of the plurality of studs is a formwork stud. The formwork stud includes a web and a pair of flanges. The web has opposed side portions extending from the top of the formwork stud to the bottom of the formwork stud and a plurality of lateral spaced apart connectors extending between the opposed side portions. The opposed side portions and the lateral spaced apart connectors define a plurality of spaced apart holes. The holes are configured to allow concrete to flow therethrough. The pair of flanges extend generally orthogonally from the opposed side portions of the web.
