Reinforced lid for subgrade enclosures

In various embodiments, lids for an in-ground or subgrade vault is provided. In various embodiments, lids are provided with a plastic reinforcement structure and concrete. The plastic reinforcement structure includes one or more plastic sidewalls that protect the edges of the lid from damage. An internal reinforcement structure comprises receiving members for receiving, securing, and positioning rebar members that are cast in place in a finished product.

A rebar positioning apparatus configured to retain a piece of rebar and allow incremental vertical movement thereof in an upwards direction during the laying of courses of a concrete block wall. The rebar positioning apparatus of the present invention has a body wherein the body includes a center section. The center section of the body includes a first ring member and a second ring member both being annular in shape. The first ring member includes a plurality of retention members formed on the wall wherein the plurality of retention members extend inward towards the central void of the first ring member. A first support portion and a second support portion are integrally formed with the center section extending outward from opposing sides thereof. The first support portion and second support portion each have lateral support members that are v-shaped.

The first arm support surface (20) includes a first arm recess (36), and a first arm inclined surface (46) which slopes towards the first arm recess (36). The second arm support surface (20) includes a second arm recess (56) and a second arm inclined surface (60) which slopes towards the second arm recess (56). In use the spacer is located on a top surface of a pod to support a reinforcing mesh.

A reinforcement arrangement and a method for producing a construction material body using the reinforcement arrangement. The reinforcement arrangement comprises a reinforcement body and at least one holding anchor unit. Each holding anchor unit is arranged or attached at the reinforcement body by a foot section. A holding section adjoining the foot section is moveable between a storage position and a function position. In the storage position, the holding section extends directly adjacent along the reinforcement body and abuts the reinforcement body at one or more locations. In the function position, a free end of the holding section opposite the foot section is larger than in the storage position. The holding section can be moved manually or self-acting from the storage position into the function position. The reinforcement body, the holding section, and the foot section are preferably embodied as textile-reinforced elements.

A concrete dowel slip tube assembly is provided for use in maintaining a planner consistency of a cured concrete slab formed on a support surface. The assembly comprises a plurality of elongate slip tubes, each having a length dimension and a tubular hollow interior compartment. Dowels are slidingly engageable to the hollow interior compartment to allow for translation along the interior compartment. A support frame defines a plurality of integral slip tube retaining members, disposed at evenly spaced locations along the support frame, the retaining members being configured to receive and engage associated slip tubes to the support frame in a common defined orientation. The support frame and the retaining members are formed as a unitary construction.

The shear connector comprises an elongated core member that includes a first end and a second end, and a flanged end-piece removably secured to one of the first end or the second end of the core member. At least a portion of the flanged end-piece includes a maximum diameter that is larger than a maximum diameter of the core member. The shear connector is configured to transfer shear forces.

A module for constructing foundations for a structure, comprising: a plurality of formwork members that define a pair of side walls that define a space between the side walls; thereto to hold the side walls in a spaced relationship; a three dimensional reinforcement cage that includes the brace, a plurality of first members, and a plurality of second members perpendicular to the first members, the first members coupled to at least the brace and the second members coupled to at least one of the plurality of the first members and the brace, wherein the cage forms an internal support within the space between the side walls for receiving a settable material, such that the side walls become integrated with the internal support as the settable substrate sets, to form the module.
