FIBER CEMENT CLADDING SYSTEM
Disclosed herein is a fiber cement cladding system such as fiber cement shingles or shakes which can have the appearance of authentic wood. Each individual fiber cement shingle or shake comprises a textured surface having a depth of relief and a coating system disposed on the textured surface. The coating system may include a sealing agent, a basecoat, and a topcoat. In some embodiments, the basecoat is disposed on at least a portion of the sealing agent and the topcoat is disposed on at least a portion of the basecoat. In some embodiments, the basecoat comprises a DFT of 1 to 3 mils and the topcoat comprises a DFT of 0.05 to 2 mils. In some embodiments, the depth of relief of the textured surface of the fiber cement shingle is about .03 to .085.
Shingle assembly
A shingle assembly includes a panel that has a front side, a back side, an upper edge, a lower edge, a first lateral edge, and a second lateral edge. An upper coupler is attached to and extends along the upper edge. A lower coupler is attached to and extends along the lower edge and snappily engages an upper coupler of another one of the shingle assemblies. A flange is integrally attached to and extends along the second lateral edge such that the flange and the panel form a unitary member. The flange extends laterally away from the panel. A lip is coextensive with and extends forwardly of an upper edge of the flange and inhibits water from wicking upwardly beyond the upper edge of the flange.
VARIEGATED BUILDING PRODUCT AND METHOD
An injection molded product is disclosed and includes a shingle resembling a cedar shingle tile formed from an amorphous or semi-crystalline thermoplastic and having a wood grain direction. The injection molded product also includes streaks in the shingle that are substantially parallel to the wood grain direction and the streaks extend through an interior of the shingle and appear as contrasting streaks on an exterior of the shingle to form a variegated wood grain appearance. The injection molded product further includes an injection molded vestige in the shingle. The injection molded vestige is located adjacent to a perimeter of the shingle and the injection molded vestige comprises a location at which material entered an injection mold through a gate.
Interlocking Roofing Panels
An interlocking roof panel has an upper section and a lower section dividing the panel, the lower section having a lower edge. The panel also has a receiver channel between the upper section and the lower section, the receiver channel having a groove undercutting the lower section. A claw protrudes from the lower section and extends beyond the lower edge of the panel, the claw is engaged with the receiver channel of another roof panel.

Roof ridge cover
An improved roof ridge cover. The roof ridge cover is formed to give the visual appearance of multiple shingles. The edges of the roof ridge cover wrap around existing roof shingles. The cover is stone coated to provide similar appearance to the adjacent roof shingle surfaces. Optional venting material may be used under the cover to allow air to vent from the attic thereby allowing the attic to breathe, although the vent material is sufficiently dense to prevent insects and bugs from passing through the vent material.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INSTALLING ROOF TILES
A method for installing a roof tile covering on a roof structure comprising: providing a plurality of roof tiles comprising a porcelain body and an attachment hole above the roof structure; placing and fixing a part of the plurality of roof tiles onto the roof structure, forming a horizontal row; interrupting the horizontal row at a distance from a hip or valley of the roof structure; cutting a roof tile to provide a triangular or trapezoidal piece comprising one or more attachment holes; placing and fixing the triangular or trapezoidal piece onto the roof structure over the hip or valley, leaving a gap between the triangular or trapezoidal piece and the plurality of roof tiles in the horizontal row; and placing and fixing at least one roof tile on the roof structure over the gap, wherein the roof tile covering comprises a plurality of horizontal rows of roof tiles.

System and method for installing roof tiles
A porcelain roof tile installing system that comprises: a roof tile having a porcelain body provided with an attachment hole; a nail for being inserted into the attachment hole of the roof tile thereby installing the roof tile to a roof structure; a nail gun for pushing the nail into the attachment hole; wherein the nail gun has a centering element configured to be coupled with the attachment hole.
