MULTI-LAYERED VENTILATION APPARATUS AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURING THEREOF
20200347609 · 2020-11-05 ·

Disclosed is an apparatus for venting buildings, specifically attic spaces, such vents being predominantly shape-conform to the components from which a wall or a roof is built (typically tiles, in the context of roofs), the vent typically being fabricated from a metallic, plastic, or ceramic core as well as one or more layers from other materials or compounds which modify the overall characteristics of the vent, such as the surface characteristics. Furthermore disclosed are methods of manufacturing such ventilation apparatuses.

DEVICES AND SYSTEMS FOR VENTILATION OF SOLAR ROOFS
20200263905 · 2020-08-20 ·

This application relates to the ventilation of a solar roof. For example, a solar roof can include a solar roof tile and a spacer, batten or other ventilating components to space the solar roof tile from the roof deck, and provide ventilation to the solar roof tile, for reduced operating temperatures and improved efficiency in electricity generation.

Pre-Assembled Ventilated Shingle Set
20200248459 · 2020-08-06 ·

An assembly, and method for constructing the assembly, that provides a much faster and more precise shingle installation with required keyway spacing and offsets, and with built-in ventilation that improves the performance of the shingles and protects the wall assembly. Also providing a pleasing distribution of shingle widths with no apparent patterns.

VENTILATED ROOF SYSTEM WITH RIDGE VENT
20200208407 · 2020-07-02 ·

A roofing system in a building structure having a ridge vent includes strips of composite material having a base material adapted to form a hermetic seal with the top surface of a roofing section and recesses in a top surface in which an air permeable material can be positioned. A strip is applied to roof sections adjacent to each side of a ridge vent so that a ridge cap can overlay the strips in spaced relation from the underlying roof sections and be sealingly secured to the roof sections. The strip material establishes a barrier between the ridge cap and the roof sections through which air can pass, but through which the passage of rain and insects is inhibited.

ROOF VENT AND ROOF VENTILATION SYSTEM
20200200411 · 2020-06-25 ·

This application relates to roof vents with diverters that prevent or reduce the likelihood that water or other debris can be driven through the vent by wind. For example, a roof vent can include a lower portion and an upper portion attached to the lower portion at an upslope edge, the upper portion angling away from the upslope edge to create a space therebetween. The roof vent can also include a front opening between the lower portion and the upper portion at a downslope edge of the upper portion to allow airflow into and out of the space. The roof vent can include a diverter positioned downslope of the front opening and attached to the lower portion for preventing or reducing the likelihood that water or other debris can be driven through the vent by wind.

ROOF VENT WITH AN INTEGRATED FAN
20200173674 · 2020-06-04 ·

A roof vent member with an integrated fan assembly is disclosed. The fan assembly may be installed, removed, replaced, maintained, etc. from underneath the roof without having to get on the roof or otherwise disrupt the roof envelope. The roof vent may include a subflashing, the fan assembly, sealing elements, screens, and other features. A secondary roof vent member may be included which may include solar panels. Associated methods of using the vent members, such as installing, removing, and replacing the vent member or various components thereof, are further disclosed.

SYSTEM, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR VENTED BIRD STOP WITH EMBER STOP

A roof system can include a roof deck that supports roof tiles. The roof system can further include a bird stop to support a first course of the roof tiles adjacent an eave of the roof deck. The bird stop can be solid and have apertures. Each aperture can include a through hole and a deformed portion behind a respective through hole. Each through hole can have a length and a width. At least one of the length and width can have a maximum dimension of not greater than inch.

EMBER-RESISTANT AND FLAME-RESISTANT ROOF VENTILATION SYSTEM
20240100375 · 2024-03-28 · ·

This application relates to ventilation systems, more particularly to roof ventilation systems that help to protect buildings against fires. The roof vent has an ember impedance structure that impedes the entry of flames and embers or other floating burning materials while still permitting sufficient air flow to adequately ventilate a building. Several configurations of vents employing baffle members and fire-resistant mesh material are described, which can substantially prevent the ingress of floating embers and flames

Roof vent with contoured foot

A roof vent for a contoured metal surface. The roof vent includes a base or foot having one or more recessed channels that extend between opposing edges of the foot. The recessed channels are sized and shaped to receive correspondingly shaped ridges of the contoured metal roof surface.
