Slat for a slatted roof or a slatted window, and a slatted roof or slatted window having such a slat
The invention relates to a slat (1) or a slatted roof (20) or a slatted window, comprising a light-permeable sheet-like covering element (2) having a longitudinal extent and width (b), wherein the width (b) is less than the longitudinal extent, and having an axis of rotation (5) which runs along the longitudinal extent of the slat (1) in order to pivot the slat (1) between a closed position and an open position. In order to allow a particularly flexible variation of the incoming sunlight entering a room (22) situated below the slatted roof (20) and in order to be able to set the desired temperature, climate control and brightness conditions in the room in a targeted manner, it is proposed that the slat (1) has at least one light-impermeable sheet-like shading element (6) having a longitudinal extent and a width (h), in which the shading element extends with the longitudinal extent thereof along the longitudinal extent of the covering element (2), that it is arranged with a first longitudinal side (6a) on the covering element (2) and projects with a second longitudinal side (6b), opposite the first longitudinal side (6a), from the covering element (2), wherein the at least one shading element (6) is arranged in the areal extent thereof at an angle () to the areal extent of the covering element (2). (FIG. 10).

Daylighting illumination system
A daylight illumination system for integration into a building or larger vehicle comprises a translucent facade element (800) containing a glass sheet and a light redirection element (302 or 708), and a light transport channel (801) for guiding light about horizontally into an interior of the building, the light transport channel comprising one opening attached to the interior side of said facade element and at least one opening towards the interior of the building, characterised in that the light redirection element (302 or 708) is formed as a structured polymer film or sheet attached to a glass sheet of the facade element (800) and is configured for changing the direction of incident light into the about horizontal light transport channel.
Light transmitting plastic panel providing variable daylight
The present invention discloses an improved light transmitting plastic panel (100) used in buildings for providing a variable daylight either during a day or in various areas of the building. The light transmitting plastic panel (100) consists of two transparent plates (102A, 102B) and a plurality of transparent hollow cells of V-type (104A, 104B) and rhombus shaped cells (106) located in between these plates (102A, 102B). In particular, a structure of the hollow cells is a repetitive sequence of one rhombus cell (106) in between two V-type cells (104A, 104B). Further, some of the hollow cells are made opaque with a predetermined pattern. With this specific structure, the variable daylight is achieved based on a time of day. In another aspect of the invention, differential daylight is provided for different areas of the building by forming a non-continuous flow pattern of opaque hollow cells across the length of the light transmitting plastic panel (100).
