INSTALLATION STRUCTURE OF CURVED TILE
The present disclosure provides an installation structure of a curved tile, including a first curved tile and a second curved tile which each comprises a tile body, wherein both ends of the tile body are respectively a first curved overlapping portion and a second curved overlapping portion, a curved surface of the first curved overlapping portion faces downward, a curved surface of the second curved overlapping portion faces upward, the first curved overlapping portion of the first curved tile overlaps on the second curved overlapping portion of the second curved tile, and a waterproof structure is disposed at a position where the first curved tile overlaps with the second curved tile.
Pre-fabricated domed skylight system
Embodiments of the present invention comprise pre-fabricated domed skylight panel assemblies for use within steel decking systems. The skylight within the pre-fabricated domed skylight panel assembly is domed. Extending from the width-wise ends of the domed portion are respective skylight end extension portions for overlapping with adjacent steel decking panels or for coupling within an aperture of a decking panel. Further, extending from the length-wise edges of the dome portion are skylight edges configured for connection to decking panel edges (e.g., male and female rail edges or panel edges) that are configured for connection to edges of adjacent decking panels. The pre-fabricated domed skylight panel assemblies provide the desired light into the building, structural support in the steel decking system, ease of shipping of the domed skylight panel assemblies, ease of installation of the domed skylight panel assemblies at the building site, and a water tight seal.
Connecting element for corrugated panels and method of use of same
A connecting means for connecting two corrugated sheets firmly to each other is made of a thin metal sheet folded into two portions; one portion is shorter than the other portion and is parallel to one part of the second portion, forming a gap between the folded portions that fits the thickness of the corrugated sheets. A threaded hole is made in the other part of the second portion of the connecting means adapted to accept a fastening screw. The connecting means may be placed over an edge of one corrugated sheet, another corrugated sheet is placed over the one corrugated sheet and a fastening screw is inserted through concentric holes made in the two corrugated sheets and is firmly fastened in the threaded hole.
Impact resistant roofing systems and methods
A hail resistant roofing system and method includes a roofing substrate such as a shingle or tile or membrane having an array of exposed upwardly projecting features. The features may rise to sharp points and may have side surfaces that are angled relative to the plane of the roofing substrate. The features are spaced and arranged so that a large hail stone capable of damaging the roofing substrate will always impact one or more of the exposed features. This can break up the hail stone into smaller benign pieces or can redirect the energy and direction of the hail stone so that the impact is absorbed without damage to the roofing substrate.
