Fabricated building
A fabricated building includes a plurality of vertically extending guide members and a plurality of building blocks arranged with the aid of said guide members to define a wall structure. Each block has a first end provided with a vertically extending guide hole having one of the guide members extending therethrough, and a second end coupled to a first end of a horizontally adjacent block. The fabricated building also includes a first threshold defining a first guide hole having one of the guide members extending therethrough and a second guide hole having one of the guide members extending therethrough. The fabricated building also includes a second threshold defining a first guide hole having one of the guide members extending therethrough and a second guide hole having one of the guide members extending therethrough. The first threshold and the second threshold define a frame space therebetween.
Roofing systems for steep pitch metal roofing
A roofing system having at least one underlayment layer; at least two nail fasteners attached to the at least one underlayment layer and into the roof deck, wherein the head of each of the nail fasteners is above the at underlayment layer and the shaft is driven through the underlayment layer and into the roof deck; at least one bead of adhesive applied above the underlayment layer; and at least one metal roofing panels placed on the at least one bead of adhesive applied above the underlayment layer, wherein the at least one metal roofing panels are above the at least two nail fasteners and the at least two nail fasteners do not penetrate the at least one metal roofing panels.
FIRE-RESISTANT THERMOPLASTIC MEMBRANE COMPOSITE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A thermoplastic membrane composite comprising (i) a planar thermoplastic body having first and second opposed planar surfaces; (ii) a fabric backing fixedly attached to said first planar surface thereby forming an interface between said thermoplastic body and said fabric backing; and (iii) expandable graphite disposed at or near the interface.
Roof
A roof that comprises a flexible, sun and rain resistant sheet constructed such that when suspended and extended to form the roof, design-integrated rain valleys are formed that channel water to and off the outside edges of the roof.
Polyolefin Thermoplastic Roofing Membranes With Improved Burn Resistivity
A polyolefin-based roofing membrane comprising a planar thermoplastic sheet, optionally having more than one layer, where at least one layer of the membrane includes a polyolefin thermoplastic resin having a blend of magnesium hydroxide and calcium carbonate dispersed therein.
ROOFING MATERIAL, AND ROOF SYSTEM INCLUDING THE ROOFING MATERIAL
A system including a first roofing material installed on the roof deck; a second roofing material installed on the roof deck, adjacent to the first roofing material, where the second roofing material includes: a first layer comprising silicone; and a first substrate, where the first layer partially covers a surface of the first substrate, thereby to provide at least a first area of the surface of the first substrate not covered by the first layer, where the first roofing material overlaps at least a portion of the first area; and a flashing material including silicone, where the flashing material covers a portion of each of: the first roofing material, the first layer of the second roofing material, and the first area of the second roofing material.
Roofing membranes having multiple adhesive regions and method therefor
A roofing membrane may include a main body, a first material, and a second material. The first material may be bonded to the main body and positioned toward a first edge thereof. The second material may be bonded to the main body and positioned toward a second edge thereof. The second edge may be positioned opposite the first edge such that the first and second materials are positioned toward opposite edges of the main body. At least one of the first material or the second material may include a first reactive material of a chemically reactive two-part cure system that is configured to chemically react upon contact of the first reactive material with a second reactive material of the chemically reactive two-part cure system.
Non-penetrating roof mount for a membrane roof
A mounting assembly for a membrane roof has a metal base plate coated on both sides with material compatible to heat weld, a plurality of openings spaced around an outer periphery, one further hole within the pattern having a bolt passing upward through the hole, and a first sheet of roofing membrane material having length and width dimensions smaller than those of the metal base plate, heat welded over the bolt head.
Membrane roofing
A foam roofing underlayment is provided with a reinforcement membrane having an array of fastener elements for engaging fastener elements on a flexible roof membrane. The underlayment is formed by molding foam between the reinforcement membrane and a carrier membrane. The underlayment in secured to the roof using washers having fastener elements for engaging the fastener elements of the flexible roof membrane. An anti-peel flap with fastener elements is provided around the periphery of the washers. A slip sheet is used between the underlayment and the flexible roof membrane to permit accurate positioning of the flexible roof membrane prior to engagement of the fastener elements. The interstices between the fastener elements provide lateral moisture paths to vents in the flexible roof membrane.
