Peripheral stabilizing system for elevated flooring surface

A peripheral stabilizing system for elevated flooring surfaces that is configured to resist uplift forces acting against the elevated flooring surface thereby reducing the likelihood of dislodged surface tiles and the like. Broadly, the disclosed system includes a support structure disposed over a fixed surface (e.g., roof deck or the like), a plurality of surface tiles appropriately laid over the support structure, and one or more restraint apparatuses (e.g., support ledgers) that are positionable adjacent the outer periphery of the flooring surface. Each restraint apparatus includes a mounting portion that is securable to a wall (e.g., parapet) and a restraint portion positionable over a portion of the elevated flooring surface adjacent the outer periphery for restricting movement of the flooring surface in a direction away from the fixed surface.

Plant Tray

Disclosed may be an intermediate surface for supporting a small paver, wherein the surface can also be used to exchange heat with the pavers. In one embodiment, the apparatus may be a tray defined by a frame with a lattice for supporting pavers. The tray preferably features a tubing track throughout the lattice to accommodate heat exchange tubing. In operation the tray may be positioned above a pedestal or directly on a subsurface. In embodiment, the tray may be outfitted with insulation and a metal plate so that heat may be exchanged with pedestals via fluid passing through tubing installed throughout the lattice. In a preferred embodiment, the tray features a slot in its corners for receiving a locking disk or locking slider.

A walkable skylight lighting system, installed to a roofing structure, including a skylight having a pane and framing members that surround and support the pane, and including a paving surface, the paving surface having a plurality of pavers that extend immediately adjacent to the skylight. The pane is an insulating glass unit (IGU) having structural glass panels and a thermal panel that are separated and sealed by a spacer, and separately supported so that they do not crush the spacer. The framing members include an upper framing member that has a lighting channel containing an LED lighting strip that edge lights the structural glass panels in the pane.

PLANTING BASEPLATE ASSEMBLY

In one aspect of a tile and support structure, a support structure may be engaged with a top portion of a pedestal. The support structure may be formed with a generally vertical spine having at least one rail extending outward from a distal end thereof. The spine and rail(s) may be configured to secure one or more tiles, which tiles may be formed with a groove on at least one edge thereof, and wherein one or more rails may be positioned within the groove.

Pedestal elevation system

An elevating leveling pedestal having a base rotatably attached to a first coupling end to collectively create a height adjustment mechanism, a second coupling end non-rotatably attached to a first end of a non-threaded midsection of predetermined length with a second end non-rotatably attached to a head assembly to support, secure, and level a surface installed over a non-sloping or sloping sub-surface. The head assembly comprising a support-head overlying and attached to a cap with either the support-head or the cap having a convex mating surface and the other having a concave mating surface making the support-head and the cap slidably re-positionable with respect to each other along their mating surface resulting in the support-head being tiltable with respect to said cap from zero to seven degrees. A recess is formed in a bottomed-well in the support surface of the support-head for supporting a double-ended bushing to interact with locking devices.
