An air-conditioner, adapted to be fitted to a roof/wall of a vehicle, comprises: an external unit containing a compressor and at least one heat exchanger element and having air channels respectively for supplying conditioned air and for receiving return air through an opening in a roof or wall of the vehicle, the opening being either of two types of different sizes; a frame to be installed in the opening and between the external unit and the roof/wall and having locating elements, on each of two opposite sides of the frame, configured to locate the frame in the opening and to locate the frame in the external unit, wherein the frame is to be installed with the first side facing the roof or wall for the first type of opening and is to be installed with the first side facing the external unit for the second type of opening.

Pre-fabricated domed skylight system

Embodiments of the present invention comprise pre-fabricated domed skylight panel assemblies for use within steel decking systems. The skylight within the pre-fabricated domed skylight panel assembly is domed. Extending from the width-wise ends of the domed portion are respective skylight end extension portions for overlapping with adjacent steel decking panels or for coupling within an aperture of a decking panel. Further, extending from the length-wise edges of the dome portion are skylight edges configured for connection to decking panel edges (e.g., male and female rail edges or panel edges) that are configured for connection to edges of adjacent decking panels. The pre-fabricated domed skylight panel assemblies provide the desired light into the building, structural support in the steel decking system, ease of shipping of the domed skylight panel assemblies, ease of installation of the domed skylight panel assemblies at the building site, and a water tight seal.

Supporting A Load On A Roof

The invention provides a system for installing a roof penetrating structure to a metal roof, the system comprising: a) a rail and closure structure adapted to be supported by adjacent rib elevations of said roof; b) a skylight adapted to be supported on the rail and closure structure; and c) a support member for sealing a cut away portion of the rib structure to divert water away from the rail and closure structure.

ROOF SYSTEM

A roof system is provided. The roof system includes a roof body capable of forming a flat roof or a corrugated roof, where the roof body is provided on a roof pillar; a gutter system is provided at a valley position of the corrugated roof or on the flat roof; a skylight system is further provided at a pitched roof or a ridge of the corrugated roof or on the flat roof; and a pressure relief adjustment component is provided on the skylight system. According to the roof system, a plurality of roof modules are assembled into the roof body. Two adjacent ones of the roof modules are fixed by a connecting plate and a self-locking component when assembled. A plurality of reinforcing points work cooperatively, so the roof system achieves a high utilization rate, and ensures the overall stability and bearing capacity of the roof.

The invention provides a system for installing a rail and closure assembly on a metal roof. The rail and closure assembly includes a supporting rail and closure structure adapted to be supported by adjacent rib elevations of the roof, and an overlying load adapted to be supported by the rail and closure structure. The rail and closure structure diverts water around the rail and closure assembly. The entire heights of the side rails, including the rail bottoms, are above the closest portions of the panel flats. At least one panel of each of the side rails faces the respective rib along the full length of the respective side rail. The rail and closure assembly also includes a lower closure. Opposing ends of the lower closure extend upwardly and interface with the ribs. The lower closure further comprises a lower flange which interfaces with a respective panel flat.

Skylight framing system with incorporated drainage

A skylight assembly, having framing members that define an interior space and rafters that span the interior space between framing members, for supporting panes of glass, each pane having at least one structural glass panel and a thermal panel. The framing members have an upper support surface and a main gutter. A structural thermal break connected to each framing member provides a lower support surface. The structural glass panels are fully supported by the upper support surface. The thermal panel is supported by the lower support surface, and is sealed to the upper support surface by a spacer, forming an insulating glass unit therewith. The full support of the structural glass, independent of the support of the thermal panel, allows the skylight to be thermally insulated and walkable. Support blocks extending on each rafter have drainage channels that lead to the main gutters in the framing members.
