A gutter cover has a lip for attachment to a structure below the roof. An upper cover extends away from the lip at an angle between 90 and 180 degrees relative to the lip. A folded section extends towards the attachment lip at an angle between 0 and 180 degrees relative to the upper cover. A covering section extends substantially parallel with, and spaced apart from, said folded section and has a number of apertures therein configured to allow water to pass into the gutter. Exemplary embodiments may utilize a filtering mesh positioned in the space between the folded section and the covering section.

LIGHT-TRANSMITTING SUBSTRATE, DISPLAY DEVICE, SIGNAL DEVICE, AND ILLUMINATION DEVICE

A thin light-transmitting substrate showing high thermal conduction efficiency, and having a function of raising surface temperature thereof is provided.

The light-transmitting substrate of the present invention comprises a substrate that transmits at least a light of a predetermined wavelength, and a conductor pattern that is disposed on the substrate, and generates heat to raise temperature of the surface of the substrate when it is supplied with an electric current. The conductor pattern is directly disposed on the substrate without any adhesive layer.

Solar Powered Heated Roof
20180066438 · 2018-03-08 ·

A system for removing snow from a rooftop comprising a plurality of interconnected pipes installed on the rooftop configured to provide a fluidic path to carry heat transfer fluid. The plurality of interconnected pipes forms a framework over the rooftop. A roof cover is attached to the interconnected pipes to cover the rooftop. The heat exchange pump circulates the heat transfer fluid through the interconnected pipes to maintain the temperature of the rooftop cover above the freezing temperature for the snow to melt and slide down from the roof. A solar panel charges a rechargeable battery which is configured to supply power to a heater configured to heat the heat transfer fluid. A controller controls the heater and heat exchange pump to supply the heat transfer fluid to the interconnected pipes to heat the roof cover. The roof cover is a combination of fiber added thermally conductive plastic material and plastic polymer.

A gutter cover has a lip where fasteners attach the cover to a structure. An upper cover extends at a downward angle away from the structure while a folded section extends and a downward angle towards the structure. A covering section extends substantially parallel to and spaced apart from the folded section back towards the front of the gutter and has a number of apertures therein for filtering debris. A filtering mesh is located between the covering section and the folded section and may also filter debris. A connecting lip secures cover to the front of the gutter.

An ice melting and clearing rod includes an ice melting chemical compound including calcium chloride, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, amide, and/or glycol, forming a substantially cylindrical member. The substantially cylindrical member includes: an outer surface including: multiple grooves that run along a length of the cylindrical member, the grooves being evenly spaced about a circumference of the cylindrical member; and a textured surface along at least a portion of the outer surface, the textured surface providing resistance in one direction along the length of the cylindrical member; and a set of through-holes adapted for use as placement features, wherein each through-hole in the set of through-holes is perpendicular to the length of the cylindrical member, where: the rod is adapted for use on a sloped roof, the outer surface is formed by the ice melting compound, and a shape of the substantially cylindrical member is retained without any external container.

Anti-Ice Buildup System For Roof Vent Pipes
20180017198 · 2018-01-18 ·

An anti-ice buildup system for roof vent pipes that is easy to install and that prevents ice buildup in roof vent pipes. The anti-ice buildup system for roof vent pipes generally includes a first segment and a second segment extending downwardly from the first segment. At least a portion of the first segment is adapted to remain outside of a vent pipe and at least a portion of the second segment is adapted to extend downwardly through an upper opening in the vent pipe. The second segment is constructed of a thermal conductive material to conduct heat from the vent air and sunlight.

Roof system

A roof system is provided. The roof system includes a roof body capable of forming a flat roof or a corrugated roof, where the roof body is provided on a roof pillar; a gutter system is provided at a valley position of the corrugated roof or on the flat roof; a skylight system is further provided at a pitched roof or a ridge of the corrugated roof or on the flat roof; and a pressure relief adjustment component is provided on the skylight system. According to the roof system, a plurality of roof modules are assembled into the roof body. Two adjacent ones of the roof modules are fixed by a connecting plate and a self-locking component when assembled.
