ROOF VENT ADAPTORS AND METHODS
20180112410 · 2018-04-26 ·

Various roof vent adaptors are disclosed. The roof vent adaptors can be used to seal penetrations on buildings, such as vent penetrations on metal or non-metal roofs. In various embodiments, the roof vent adaptor includes a sealing member, an outer securing unit and an inner securing unit. The roof vent adaptor can be secured to the roof to provide a generally liquid-tight seal around the roof vent, thereby inhibiting or preventing water intrusion into the building.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MOUNTING ROOF-MOUNTED PHOTOVOLTAIC ARRAYS INCLUDING FLASHING AND TAPE
20180097470 · 2018-04-05 ·

A system for flashing a mount of a photovoltaic assembly on a surface includes a flashing assembly. The flashing assembly includes flashing that extends across an interface of the mount and the surface when the mount is attached to the surface. The flashing assembly also includes tape attached to the flashing. The tape includes a first attachment area and a second attachment area. The flashing assembly has a first configuration in which the first attachment area is attached to the flashing and the second attachment area is unattached, and a second configuration in which the first attachment area is attached to the flashing and the second attachment area is attached to the surface. The tape is movable with the flashing as an assembly when the flashing assembly is in the first configuration.

Replacement flashing for exhaust gas vents beneath roof-mounted photovoltaic systems

Roof-mounted venting devices adapted for use with roof mounted photovoltaic (PV) panels are provided. Venting devices and assemblies can include a replacement flashing that fits over a cut-down roof pipe vent as well as venting assemblies that redirect airflow from a roof pipe vent. Such replacement flashing can include a substantially planar flashing portion having a raised portion for accommodating any residual flashing or roofing debris. Such replacement flashing may further include a hood portion with one or more vent openings to allow airflow into and out from the interior of the hood portion. Venting assemblies can include a coupling portion for mating with a vent-pipe, a section of hose or piping to redirect airflow, and a venting portion disposed outside or between roof-mounted solar panels.

EXHAUST STRUCTURE FOR COMBUSTION APPARATUS
20170115001 · 2017-04-27 · ·

An exhaust structure for combustion apparatus includes an exhaust tube connected to a water heater, an exhaust pipe through which the exhaust tube is introduced, and an exhaust tube fixing member for fixing a position of the exhaust tube relative to the exhaust pipe. The exhaust tube fixing member includes a first fixing portion having a cylindrical shape and fixed to the exhaust tube, and an attaching portion connected to the first fixing portion and attached to the exhaust pipe. The attaching portion have a first cylindrical portion having a first inner diameter D2, and a second cylindrical portion having a second inner diameter D3 smaller than the first inner diameter D2 of the first cylindrical portion.

STRUCTURAL ATTACHMENT SEALING SYSTEM

A mounting device includes a base that has an internal cavity and an open bottom in communication with the internal cavity. The open bottom mounts flush against a mounting surface without flashing when the mounting device. The base also includes a sealant within the internal cavity. The sealant directly contacts the mounting surface when the mounting device is secured to the mounting surface. The mounting device also includes a fastener opening defined in a top of the base and extending through the top to the internal cavity. The fastener opening is for receiving a fastener to secure the mounting device to the mounting surface. The securing causes the sealant to directly contact the mounting surface and the open bottom to mount flush against the mounting surface. The mounting device also includes a member extending upwardly from the top of the base and defining a first attachment face having an aperture.
