NANOEMULSION
The present invention relates to a nanoemulsion comprising at least one aqueous component and a carrier, wherein the carrier comprises at least one lipophilic component, at least one surfactant and at least one alcohol. The present invention further relates to a composition comprising said nanoemulsion and an active agent. In particular, the composition is present as a gel and the active agent is 5-aminolevulinic acid, a derivative, precursor and/or metabolite thereof. The invention further relates to the preparation of said nanoemulsion and/or composition and to their use for the treatment of dermatological diseases, virus-associated diseases as well as diseases associated with cell proliferation, in particular, tumor diseases and/or psoriasis. The present invention is further directed to the use of said nanoemulsion in cosmetics.
CO-EMULSIFICATION COMPOSITION CONTAINING VARIOUS EMULSIFICATION PARTICLE SIZES AND METHOD FOR PREPARING SAME
Disclosed are: a co-emulsified composition containing different emulsification particle sizes; and a method for preparing the same. Chemical composition with hydrogen peroxide and a nanoemulsion of long-chained alcohols
The present invention provides a chemical composition comprised of hydrogen peroxide and a nanoemulsion of long-chained alcohols which in combination these constituents act synergistically boost the kill-time rate of hydrogen peroxide. The peroxide based nanoemulsion formulation for application to skin includes a cosmetically approved peroxide containing compound present in a range to give from about 0.1 to about 4 wt./wt. % released hydrogen peroxide, an organic acid present in a concentration from about 0.01 to about 5 wt./wt. % for adjusting a pH of the formulation in a range from about pH 1 to about pH 4, a long-chained (C9 to C22) aryl and/or alky! alcohol, present in a concentration from about 0.1 to about 20 wt./wt. %, and an emollient present in a concentration from about 0.1 to about 40 wt./wt. %, and an emulsifier present in a concentration from about 0.1 to about 20 wt./wt. % to render the formulation a nanoemulsion.

The present invention is directed to a method of reduction of frizz and improving hair conditioning wherein a hair treatment composition comprising a silicone emulsion with droplets having an average diameter of less than about 50 nanometers in an carrier wherein the silicone emulsion comprises a crosslinked organopolysiloxane made from various reactive compounds, wherein each compound is comprised of one or more units represented by the following general formula:

The compositions can be used to improve skin appearance of chronological aging or photoaging, resulting from exposure to UV light/sunlight, or environmental pollutants. The compositions are also useful for attaining even skin color and reducing pigmentation, age spots and discoloration.
COMPOSITIONS FOR DELIVERY OF BIOACTIVE AGENTS INTO HAIR FOLLICLES
The present invention is directed to a composition for the delivery of bioactive agents into hair follicles. The composition is prepared as an oil-in-water emulsion, and comprises one or more lipophilic bioactive agents, one or more oil solvents, one or more emulsifiers and water, wherein said bioactive agents are substantially dissolved in the internal oil phase of said emulsion, and wherein the mean droplet size of said emulsion is in the range of about 200 to about 1000 nm. The invention also encompasses methods for delivering said compositions into the hair follicle, and for treating diseases and disorders thereof.
Nanoparticles and nanoemulsions
The invention described herein is related to the preparation and usage of nanoemulsions and nanoparticles which containing biological active ingredients including cosmetic, medical and pharmaceutical active ingredients to pass skin barriers and promote cell growth with evident clinical effects. Also, the present invention contains a cosmetic formulation that can be used for skin rejuvenation, wrinkle removal, scar treatment and wounds healing.
Composition in the form of nano or micro emulsion or with lamellar structure
The present invention relates to a composition, preferably a cosmetic composition, comprising: (a) at least one oil; (b) at least one polyglyceryl fatty acid ester, preferably with a polyglyceryl moiety derived from 2 to 6 glycerins; (c) at least one compound selected from the group consisting of resorcinol and resorcinol derivatives; and (d) water. The composition according to the present invention can be in the form of a nano- or micro-emulsion, or can have a lamellar structure or a lamellar phase, with better transparency and stability.

BOTULINUM NANOEMULSIONS
The embodiment described herein are related nanoemulsions comprising botulinum toxins. In one embodiment, the nanoemulsions are prepared by high pressure microfluidization and comprise a particle size distribution exclusively between 10 and 300 nm. The nanoemulsions contemplated by the present invention are useful for the cosmetic and medical treatment of muscular contracture states. For example, botulinum toxin may relax facial muscles such that skin wrinkles become smoother and less noticeable. Further, the present invention contemplates a cosmetic formulation that may be self-administered, for example, in the privacy of one's home and without medical supervision.
