Awning apparatus
An awning assembly with a mount portion, an extendable bar assembly, an upper canopy being retractable to a compact configuration adjacent to the mount portion and extendable to an extended position upon extension of the extendable bar assembly to provide shade from above, a lower canopy coupled with the extendable bar assembly and extendable therefrom to provide shade from a side position. The extendable bar assembly comprises a first roller coupled with the upper canopy, a second roller coupled with the lower canopy and a motion generator coupled with the second roller, the motion generator configured to store energy as the second roller is moved to retract the lower canopy and configured to use the stored energy to move the second roller to extend the lower canopy from the extendable bar assembly.
AWNING DEVICES
An awning device includes a roll-up awning, an electric motor for rotating the roll-up awning, which motor is electrically supplied by one or more wires, a supply cable having one or more wires, an electrical coupling for coupling the wires of the supply cable to the wires of the motor, which coupling includes a male and female component which can be coupled together electrically and mechanically, wherein the male component has at least one contact pin and the female component comprises at least one contact socket.
Mounting bracket lock
A mounting bracket lock may be configured to secure the mounting bracket of a window treatment housing to a rail of the housing. The mounting bracket lock may be slidably attachable to the rail and, when in a locked position, may prevent the mounting bracket from detaching from the rail. The mounting bracket lock may include a body that is mountable to the rail. The body may include a first portion that slidably attaches to the rail, and a second portion that receives a portion of the rail and a portion of the mounting bracket, thereby securing the mounting bracket in a locked position relative to the rail. The body of the mounting bracket lock may define one or more projections that extend therefrom, and that engage in a friction fit between corresponding surfaces of the mounting bracket when the mounting bracket lock is in the locked position.
Automatic power bimini top
A bimini system for use with a support structure includes a bimini assembly transformable between an open configuration and a closed configuration. The bimini assembly includes a frame and a cover affixed to the frame. A gathering system includes a gathering mechanism associated with the cover. The gathering mechanism is movable to at least one of fold and gather the cover as the bimini assembly transforms from the open configuration to the closed configuration.
Tubular motor seal for extendable awning
A seal enclosure protects a tubular motor that is configured to drive an awning roller. The seal enclose includes a motor box sized to fit over an end of the tubular motor, a motor box extension engaging the motor box and including a circumferential protrusion, a gasket positioned between the motor box and the motor box extension, and a flexible seal engaging the circumferential protrusion and configured to engage the awning roller. The motor box, the motor box extension and the flexible seal define a closed housing for the tubular motor.
Retractable Awning
Retractable awning with a cloth shaft, a cloth attached by one end thereof to the cloth shaft and winding onto and unwinding from the cloth shaft, at least one pulling cable connected by its one end to the free end of the cloth, at least one mast, and a cable winch disposed on the mast and featuring a cable drum, wherein the cable winch is connected to the other end of the pulling cable and is designed to retract and to unwind the pulling cable, characterized in that the cable winch is designed as a load balancer featuring a conical cable drum.
LATERAL ARM AWNING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF OPERATION
A lateral arm assembly and method of operation includes first and second articulating arms comprising first and second ends, the first ends of the articulating arms are mounted upon assembly to a support surface at separate lateral locations. The first ends each comprise separate pivoting mounting structures for forming a first pivotal connection with the first and second articulating arms. The lateral arm assembly also comprises a roller tube having spaced lateral ends supporting respective end brackets that provide a second pivotal connection to the second ends of the articulating arms. The roller tube supports a canopy coupled to a roller shaft, wherein one of the end brackets further supports a device that drives the roller shaft for furling and unfurling the canopy.

EQUIPMENT PROTECTION SYSTEM AND PROTECTION DEVICE THEREOF
A protection device is provided, including a first fixed member, a second fixed member, a supporting member, a roller, an awning, an electromagnetic device, and a power supply unit. The supporting member connects to the first and second fixed members. The roller is movably disposed on the supporting member. The power supply unit provides electrical power to the electromagnetic device, so that the electromagnetic device attracts the roller, and the awning remains in a received state. When the power supply unit stops providing electrical power to the electromagnetic device, the roller moves along the supporting member, and the awning is expanded to cover the equipment.
