Sunshade and a method of constructing a sunshade
11306483 · 2022-04-19 ·

The present invention relates to sunshades and methods of constructing sunshades, particularly, sunshade canopies installed at a fixed location in the temperate zones. In a first aspect of the invention, a sunshade element is configured such that the sunshade element is viewed from a reference shade point as a thin profile between adjacent apertures over predetermined days in winter, thereby maximising the admission of sunshine to the shade area; and configured such that the sunshade element presents the maximum or near maximum breadth of its during predetermined days in summer; resulting in the admission of sunshine in winter and the blocking of sunshine in summer. During the spring period winter, sunshine is gradually replaced by summer shade, and during the autumn period, summer shade is replaced by winter sunshine, such that the sunshade elements provide effective blocking and admission of sunshine to the shade area over the annual solar cycle.

A sunshade canopy includes a frame comprising longitudinal beams and longitudinal beams; a canopy top arranged on the frame; and supporting legs supporting the frame. One of the longitudinal beams includes a first longitudinal beam section and a second longitudinal beam section which are connected via a first fixing member. The first fixing member has an upper connecting surface and a first side connecting surface which are perpendicular to each other and have screw holes. Upper walls and side walls of abutting ends of the first longitudinal beam section and the second longitudinal beam section are provided with screw holes corresponding to the screw holes of the first fixing member respectively. The first fixing member fastens the first longitudinal beam section and the second longitudinal beam section via bolts. The canopy top is covered with uniformly arranged sunshade panels which are connected to the longitudinal beams via connecting members.

OPENABLE SUNSCREEN DEVICE WITH ADJUSTABLE SLATS
20210355685 · 2021-11-18 ·

An openable sunscreen device with adjustable slats (3) moved by at least one distance adjustment member (21) between opened (O) and closed (C) conditions. Each slat (3) has an axle (9) whose ends (11) slide along a first site for sliding (15) of a side guide (17). Each slat (3) has an inclined arm (23) provided with a slider (25). A rotation member (27) provides for rotation of the slat (3) around its axle (9) and includes a longitudinal track element (31) parallel to the site for sliding (15) and a corresponding transversal track element (33). Each transversal track element (33) intersects the longitudinal track element (31) at a respective switch element (35) rotatable between a rotating condition in which it (37) is aligned with the respective transversal track element (33) and a sliding condition in which it (37) is aligned with the longitudinal track element (31).

A louver system including a louver assembly mounted to a frame. The louver assembly includes first and second side members mounted to respective side elements of the frame, and a number of slat subassemblies with respective slat bodies that are rotatable about respective axes of rotation thereof. The slat bodies are rotatably held between the first and second side members by pivot pins. The pivot pins include one or more extended pivot pins, for securing the louver assembly to the side elements of the frame. Each extended pivot pin extends between inner and outer ends thereof. The outer end is formed to be partially positioned in a selected one of the side elements, and to engage an outer side of the selected side element. The inner end is formed for location in a selected one of the slat bodies, to rotatably secure the selected slat body between the side elements.
