METHOD OF ASSEMBLY OF MODULAR STAIR ASSISTANCE DEVICE FOR PETS
20190203476 · 2019-07-04 ·

A pet staircase may be formed by joining modular units to each other in succession and that overlie a household staircase. They are retained in position over the household staircase. Each modular unit has stairs and/or ramps. The treads may be adjusted so that they all are parallel to each other and extend horizontally.

SLIDING AND STACKING PORTABLE RAMP
20190150400 · 2019-05-23 ·

An apparatus for facilitating animal or vehicle movement between different surface elevations includes multiple floor panel members, including a first floor panel member and a last floor panel member. Each of the floor panel members are slidably attached to an adjacent one of the floor panel members. The floor panel members, when extended, form a ramp having a length which is variable, the floor panel members being adapted to nest within one another when retracted. The apparatus further includes a housing configured to enclose the floor panel members when retracted. The last floor panel member is coupled to the housing in a manner which enables the ramp to be slidably removed from the housing without having the ramp disengage from the housing. The housing includes a front panel removably attached to the housing for securing the floor panel members within the housing when the ramp is retracted.

HANDRAIL SYSTEM FOR RAMP ASSEMBLY AND HANDRAIL ADAPTOR HAVING ANGLED INTERFACE

In another embodiment of the present disclosure, an adaptor is configured for a handrail portion.

Device for Helping a Vehicle Pass Over an Obstacle
20180347202 · 2018-12-06 ·

The invention relates to a device (1) for helping a wheeled vehicle pass over an obstacle, in particular for a person with impaired mobility. It comprises: a stationary frame (2) comprising a bottom and two symmetrical parallel side walls (9, 10); a plate (3) provided with two ends, a first end being movable between a high position and a low position in which said plate constitutes an access ramp, and an assembly for driving said first end between a low position and a high position, said first end being supported by said drive assembly in both the low position and the high position. Said drive assembly comprises: a linear ram mounted under the plate (3), provided with a stationary end adjacent to said second end and rigidly connected to the bottom, and a mobile end, a carriage that is movable in horizontal translation and driven by said ram, said carriage resting on guides mounted on the bottom of the frame. Said carriage comprises two tappets, a pair of arms, the arms being symmetrical, each arm resting on one of the tappets of the carriage, each arm supporting the first end of the plate (3); in the retracted position of the actuator, the carriage is near said second end, the arms are in the low position and the first end is in the ramp position, and in the extended position of the actuator, the carriage is arm said first end, the arms are in the high position and the first end is in the high position.

Operable ramp

An operable ramp is moveable between a stowed position and a deployed position to provide a sloped transition between upper and lower surfaces of an architectural setting. The operable ramp includes a ramp panel and a drive assembly coupled to a first end of the ramp panel so that the drive assembly reciprocates the operable ramp between the stowed position and the deployed position. The drive assembly defines a maximum elevation of the first end of the ramp panel when the operable ramp is in the deployed position and also defines a minimum elevation of the first end of the ramp panel when the operable ramp is in the stowed position. The maximum elevation is selectively adjustable relative to the minimum elevation.

Operable ramp

An operable ramp is moveable between stowed and deployed positions. In the deployed position, the ramp provides a sloped transition surface that extends from a lower surface of an architectural setting to an upper surface of the architectural setting. The operable ramp includes a ramp panel and a housing. The height of an upper surface of the housing is selectively adjustable. The operable ramp further includes a drive assembly that is at least partially disposed within the housing. The drive assembly has a drive linkage coupled to a first end of the ramp panel to move the operable ramp between the stowed and deployed positions. The drive linkage raises the first end of the ramp panel to a first elevation when the upper surface of the housing is at a first height and to a second elevation when the upper surface of the housing is at a second height.

Device of helping a vehicle to negotiate an obstacle
09920535 · 2018-03-20 · ·

A device (1) for helping a wheeled vehicle to negotiate an obstacle, characterized in that it comprises a stationary frame (10) and at least one deployable ramp (2), said ramp having a bottom end intended to come into contact with the ground (3) and an opposite top end mechanically connected to at least one ramp lifting lever that lifts the top end of said ramp over an end-of-extraction-travel portion, said lifting lever being in the form of a foot mounted so as to pivot on the ramp between an inactive flapped-down position and an end position in which said foot at least partially supports the weight of the top end of said ramp, said foot having a lifting function over a travel portion adjacent to the end position and being kept in contact with the ground.

Pet ramp apparatus

The present pet ramp apparatus includes a base, a ramp, and a support between the base and the ramp. The base and ramp are swingably engaged to each other. The support and ramp are swingably engaged to each other. The support is removably engaged to the base at spaced apart receptors, where changing the receptors changes the height of the upper end of the ramp and further changes the angle of inclination of the ramp.

Collapsible stair with foldable ramp

A collapsible stair with foldable ramp can include a first step, and a second step nestable within the first step such that when the collapsible stair is in a closed position the second step is aligned with the first step and when the collapsible stair is in an open position a lateral offset between the second step and the first step is increased. A third step can be nestable within the first step such that when the collapsible stair is in a closed position the third step is aligned with the second step and is in an open position a lateral offset between the third step and the second step is increased. A ramp can be rotatably coupled to the first step to rotate from a stair position to a ramp position, wherein the ramp position comprises the second step and the third step being covered by the ramp.

Operable ramp

An operable ramp is moveable between a stowed position and a deployed position to provide a sloped transition surface between upper and lower surfaces of an architectural setting. The operable ramp includes a housing disposed on the lower surface of the architectural setting and having a selectively adjustable height. A first ramp panel has a support element extending from a first end. The operable ramp also includes a drive assembly located within the housing. The drive assembly includes an endless loop coupled to an end of the support element to move the operable ramp between the stowed position and the deployed position. The endless loop has a linear portion located between first and second arcuate portions. The endless loop raises the end of the support element to deploy first ramp panel. The distance between the first and second arcuate portions is selectively adjustable.
